Higher PG juices tend to have more flavor and more throat hit. Higher VG juices tend to have a slightly subdued flavor, less throat hit and more vapor. Nicotine does also add to throat hit pretty significantly.

You can though, find juices with enough flavor that also have mostly vg... and if you can handle lower nicotine... 12 mg or lower seems to drastically reduce throat hit.

Personally I don't get any detectable th with 6mg on my diy. For some reason I can't bring myself to buy low nic juice... well I haven't bought any juice in a few months' but that's neither here nor there. It stands to reason that 0 mg will be easier on you. VG only juice seems to help some as well, it seems to mute the throat hit quite a bit. I hope this helps a bit.

If you like sweet... I would recommend this....

For "cloudyness", select super,

then for flavor, ask for double or triple.

My first order of this flavor was 8mg nic, double flavor, 50/50 ratio (to give me a decent baseline), my reorder was 12mg nic, highest vg they sell with 3 shots of flavor. There is actually somewhat less flavor in this one than the first one even though there is actually "more" flavor in it. But this was the perfect mix for me...still a strong flavor, lots of vapor, and no throat hit

I suppose I could be getting a cough, although i only notice it shortly after vaping. Throat does feel a bit irritated as well... Kind of like day after smoking a pack of camel lights in a night of bar hopping. Would PG or Nicotine or perhaps both cause more irritiation and harsher hits with continued usage? I've been vaping decently for past week, about 3-4 808 78mm recharges worth. It seems I was getting much smoother hits and less irritation after initially trying them... Was in awe about how great they were at first now I'm second guessing myself before I take a vape.

I guess I'll have to experiment with some blank cartos or nano-clearomizers (discretion is a bit important to me) and some new e-liquid high content VG or 100% VG with flavors, with 0-12mg nicotine. I'm kind of interested in Alice in Vaperland's flavors, i know they'll make high VG content but wonder if they'll double the flavors? Anyone think they may be a good choice? A company that offers a sampler to experiment with all this is definitely important too.

I'm also going to assume that PG's ability to carry more flavor is not to my benefit if I dislike throathit this much.

I spent about 2 hours with my local vape seller yesterday because she had never heard of nicotine being a problem with anyone, but suspected the PG/VG ratio. We went from 24mg to 0% nicotine & 100% to 70% VG, back and forth until we found out it is the nicotine that irritates my throat. I am/was a 1-2 PAD menthol smoker, but I smoked lights because of the throat irritation. There is not enough research done yet, but I do not think I have a PG problem, I have a nicotine irritation problem. Because my primary goal with vaping is to cut out the analogs, I have bought everything from 24mg nicotine to 0 nicotine, flavored and unflavored so I can mix a bit to get the nicotine I need to kick the analog habit BUT not hack up a lung in the process. I am not sure if this is your issue as well, but as with all of us here, it's a process we have to perfect on our own to find what we need & like.

BTW I have heard very good things about Alice in Vaperland's products and have an order coming. I'll let you know what I experience since we seem to have the same problem... If I can find this post again >.< Good luck BTW! This is my 1st 48 hours without analogs and I am feeling no need for the analogs except reaching for them and looking around out of habit... then I realize I am vaping for my nicotine instead :p And this is simply maaaaaaaaaaaaaarvelous because of the magnificent juices available far outweigh the basic menthol I was stuck with before!

AIV Happens to be my #1 Fave vendor. I have had all but two of their flavors... and I love most of them. Not like, LOVE. I can't think of any other vendor that had so many wins for me. Most of the time its more like 1 out of 7 or 8 that I like from a vendor. I think you are in very good hands with them. And yes, you can definitely get extra flavor... I do :)
