I can't think of any concerns. I love mine. It's the perfect size for my hand and vapes like a champ. Beautifully crafted too. Problems rarely occur, but when they do, Rob fixes them.

Heck, I ordered a 801 native Woodvil, nothing wrong with the mod, but I decided I didn't like the 801. Rob switched it out to a 510 for me.

Want to buy one, just wondering if there are any concerns. Thank you.

I've had my mini for almost a month... once you pass a short learning curve for the feel of the button and develop your squonking touch... you will have no concerns!

I have been in vapor bliss with my ReoMini, but it wasn't a totally smooth road to this bliss -- I found there was lots of room for "User Error."

1- I thought the button wasn't firing... only to learn that it was firing... my problem was a DOA atty. Solution: Get an inexpensive multimeter to check that your attys and cartomizers are working
2- I thought the button wasn't firing... only to learn that my battery was almost out of power -- gotta keep those batteries charged... and you will notice a drop off in the draw when the batteries are almost fully discharged... so have at least two or three batteries on hand. Again, a multimeter can come in handy to check those batteries.

But -- there is one concern -- it's like a potato chip -- you can't have just one! I'm in line for my second! There's lots of great threads on the ReosMods forum... and for you, I would suggest this thread

Happy vaping!

Hey guys! I hope someone can help me with my Reo Mini.

I purchased my gold/black Reo mini on the initial first run of them and it has worked flawlessly until this week. The push button has sort of lost all its spring and now touches the battery almost all the time if I am not careful to unscrew the atty. Already lost one atty due to this.

Do I need to order one of the replacement springs from the site? There is no picture of the said springs on the website so I just wanted to double check before ordering.

TIA

I'm willing to bet that the atty shorted out and either killed your pin or melted the firing button. PM Rob (redeyedancer). He will probably want you to send it in for a fix. You need the firing pin upgrade anyway, since it is from the first run. Don't worry, his turn-around time is really quick.

The spring is for the bottom of the battery. That spring usually collapses if the atty shorts, and it might be "crispy" now.

Yep. Send it back for a little minor surgery. You will probably just have to cover shipping costs only, but don't hold me to that, since I'm just a spectator and not the coach.

hubseven - I have had my mine for over 1 month. Performs flawlessly and is great for driving. I use mine with a Cisco LR 1.5ohm 306 and a cannon DT. I also power it with AW batts and the hit is awesome and consistent. Using LR and the smaller batt size you will need to have an extra batt or two to make it through the whole day. Small price to pay for the size and performance of this little animal. As stated above the only problem is once you have a mini you will want a grand, a woodvil and maybe another mini. I now have a black on black grand heading my way. I have a nice collection of MODs and the REO is in my everyday rotation. Happy vapes

i would definitely talk with rob/redeyedancer... its a simple fix.... i had a similar issue once with my grand. i was using a shoty 510 to 801 adaptor.... he fixed mine and had it on its way back to me the day after he received it..... he is good like that... best of the best...
