Are there any drawbacks to the vamo V5? I have all but made my decision.

I 'stepped up' from the Ego-C Twist to a Vamo V3 and have been really happy with it. My understanding is that it and the V5 are relatively similar aside from the styling on the outer casing.

And my understanding, which mind you has only been gleaned from reading, is that the Vamo is on par with many - if not most - of the cylindrical VV/VW mods out there. It's mainly becomes a matter of preference for the menu layout and the ways that you access the menu, read the OLED screen, placement of the 'fire' button, and so on. Largely subjective for the most part.

All that said, as much as I enjoy my V3, I do have an Innokin VTR on order and plan on buying my first mechanical mod soon. I'll still use my V3, but like so many other vapers, I enjoy variety.

Threads where out quicker then some mods, susceptible to denting and scratching if dropped.
Get the stainless version it holds up to abuse a lot better then the other finishes.

The V5 uses the same board as the V3. only real difference is the styling. For the price I would go with the V3 just to make sure it is something you like. It costs about half as much. You can find it on fasttech. Be warned that fasttech takes a while to get you stuff to you so if you NEED it now look elsewhere, but if you can wait I would start there. Also dont order batteries from there, I had an order held up for over a month for one battery I ended up canceling the order and going to a different site.
