Hi,

I bought an RSST atomizer and I drilled out the hole too large. I'm not sure what size I actually did drill out but it's too large. I took a photo of it with my phone but for the life of me can't figure out how to sync it so that I can access the photo online but anyway, the hole is too large now.

Short of buying a new RSST or a new RSST top cover to the atomizer, does anybody have any ingenious ideas on ways to make the hole smaller now? Looking for a nice idea, I could of course (and am) use something like clear packing tape or scotch invisible tape but even though they are supposed to be invisible I can see them and it looks like hell with a piece of tape somewhat covering the hole.

Beyond tape though I'm stymied for ideas on how I might fix my mistake and make the hole smaller.

Thanks

Hmm, that might be an idea, perhaps I can superglue a piece of the steel mesh that I use on this atomizer for it's wicks to the inside of the top cap to cover the hole and if one layer isn't enough maybe superglue more layers on top until it reduces the air flow enough.

I don't really mind airy hits, as I keep both my AeroTank and my nautilus tanks on the most open setting possible but this just seems to be too much, even for me.

Now I'd just have to worry about whether any heat generated inside of the atomizer would interact with super glue, or for that matter... what box did I put the super glue when we moved out of our old home.

Yup the hole is bigger than a toothpick, it looks to me like it would take two toothpicks put side to side to go from one side of the hole to the opposite side of the hole.

From what ibe read, using super glue on our vaping stuff is a BIG "no no".
But if you are gonna use it, maybe cut a little piece of aluminum (say from a soda can), put a smaller hole on that piece, and glue it to the inside of the RSST?

There must be some non-toxic glue suitable for this use, maybe that white liquid one?

EDIT: tought of another possible solution lol
Not sure where the hole is (is it a on a thin cover, or its actually a channel?), but if its just on a cover/wall like i think, you could completely cancel the hole you made (insert a screw or something), and make a new hole the proper size.

I think the screw is a good idea actually, and then I could have varying sized holes and put a screw in each one, then when I want a more airy draw, just unscrew one of the larger holes. Of course that means keeping charge of the little screws to avoid losing them to where I have to keep buying more of them but should actually be workable. I've already got a tiny screwdriver on my keychain to adjust the air hole on the eLeaf iJust tank so...

If I do it good, then an assortment of screws around the atomizer cover may actually look like they belong there (to somebody that knows nothing about the tank lol). I've got a lot of screws from computer builds so maybe I can find some to do this. Thanks
