If there are any, can someone point me to one please?

I determined that the boge 510 cartomizers are just not to my liking, at all. I'm sure a better carto would give me satisfactory results, but I can't convince myself that cartos are a better idea. I'm really iffy on the environmental aspects of cartos. Namely, they die incredibly quickly, and it's that much more (non biodegradeable) trash that I am generating. That really, really bothers me. Yes, analog filters made a lot of trash too, and that was actually on my list of reasons to quit smoking. I just can't justify paying so much $$ for the better cartos. Sure, it's cheaper than cigs, but I'm not ready to jump in to that until I think it through more.

I just got tank attys and tanks for my ego. I'm loving them, seriously. This tank idea rocks. Since the carto is out the window, is there a tank that can be used with a regular atty? I know there's been troubles with the egoTs, so I'd like to get away from them, and to a different type of tank. All the tanks I've seen use cartomizers. I may end up with cartos eventually anyway. I hope to order a provari next month, and I can't see myself constantly filling a cartridge on my provari. It just seems to me a tank+provari is a much better idea. So if all tanks require a carto, then I may be headed down that road in the future.

I'm rambling. Sorry.

(extra info, in case it's required: I'm currently using an ego, egoT, and also a 510, when the mood strikes. Using just a regular cartridge on the 510 and ego, with fluval. 50/50 PG/VG mix. I have more of each, so can change the ratio if needed for a tank)

Wow. I'm totally overwhelmed with information! I'm going to need a notebook to keep track of all that. LOL. I'm way over confused with all the acronyms, trying to figure out what is what. I have been watching videos on the Odysseus though, and I think I'm in love. Do they actually die, ever? Not counting running it over with a car, it looks like the only atty I would ever need to buy. Ever. The video I just finished watching was a guy with it on a provari, and it looks pretty slick too. And it definately addresses the "trash reduction" aspect.

Ok, off to watch more videos, and figure out what the rest of all the stuff is. :D

One of the members, MWA...(I can't remember the rest) posted a video on how to use an IKV 306 in a normal carto tank. I only have owned one of those atties but you need the original cap to do the mod and I threw that away as soon as it came in, as per usual. However, I'm with you. I would much rather see a way to use all of the Boge and DCT tanks with a normal 510 atty. I own a UFS and love it, but I can only use it on the GGTS unless you can obtain an adapter which was made by someone in the EU and I have yet to see one in the classifieds. That coupled with the cost of the UFS/AFS/iAtty/Odysseus/Genesis type tanks makes it unobtainable to many people. Not saying that they're not worth every penny, but with all of the INCREDIBLE talent in this community, I'm honestly surprised no one has found a way to make this happen.
