Got the adapter in and WOW @ 5v these EMDCC hit HARD on my Maximum Vaper box mod! Quite good on my VV also @ 4v range ;I'm very impressed at this point!

Jim Bob, could you do me a favor (TOFTT)? Would you turn it down to 3.7v and take a couple o' hits, and let me know if it still hits well? Because, on my 3.7v eGo, I ain't liking the eMDCC, thus far.

Thanks!

I did you "one better" than that, I tried it @ 3.2, 3.4 (Ego range) and 3.7 HUGE difference IMO while the vape isn't great at Ego range it's better than regular Ego stuff (IMO) but @ 3.7v (and up) it really shines . I also tried two different juices (555 80/20 PG/VG and DK Tab 100% VG) tons of vapor on both and a NICE TH @ 3.7 (again IMO) I think you'll be Well Please @ 3.7 (and REALLY from 4.2 and higher --- up to 5v high as I see any need to try them for me LOL)

Wow! You are the mad scientist vaporing dude. Thanks!

Okay, just received my vape all day menthol order from Mr. Postman. I had used my last 5ml with one of the new eMDCC's, so wanted to wait until I received some new before I tried a second carto. And, it is much better than the first one. Seems the first one I unwrapped was a bad one. Cuz' that first one tasted really bad. Burnt, polly-fill tasting, very low vapor volume as well. Isn't that the way it always is? Get something new and Murphy's law kicks in immediately to make us wonder if it is the new thing, or just a bad one.

I'm really glad the eMDCC's work, cuz' they are so nice feeling in the hand (satin black rubber) and they look slick. My CE2's looked like I was using opium or something. : o

Alright, time to get my vape on and really start to learn these puppies.

Cheers!

I actually filled these two the night before I was going to test them and let them saturate then topped off until they wouldn't hold another drop (best I can figure pretty close to 5ml they claim) I wasn't going to risk a burnt one being so huge and Dual Coils and all that. It was worth all of that IMO - as good as a DC tank IMO (so far) without the hassles

Okay, I've vaped the $35 900mAh Smok Tech Mega Ego Kit I received last Saturday.

First, what a great deal. Even less expensive than the KGO kits out there. I like that it came with 3 eMDCC's (5ml dual coil cartomizers) and how well the batteries and cartos fit together and look nice and slick. Plus the batteries and cartos are coated with a rubberized matt black finish. Feel very nice in the hand. Slim and sleek. However, the batteries do not come with a multi-click on/off function. And, that is a bit disconcerting to me, since I carry my PV's in the front pocket of my jeans and one of the batteries power buttons is sticking. : /

I have been using CE2's for the past month on my Pig Cig, and I can't abide the "plastic" taste that poly-fill cartos have. Really like how the CE2 wicks don't have that plastic or dry taste to them So, I am bummed that I will not be able to use the eMDCC's once these 3 are done. Can't wait to try CE2's on them (mine are 808D-1). Probably will get an adaptor 808 - 510. Plus I'm thinking of trying some Boge cartos on this unit.

Bottom line. Great deal for some very nice 900mAh 3.7v batteries in a kit (with case, charger, etc...). It is all Smok Tech Ego. Right now they are out of stock, but if you want a great deal on a nice kit, check in to see when he gets them back in and puts them on special.

For your button issue they make a plastic piece that clips on and covers the button to keep it from turning on. Of course I can't find one this second to link, but they are really cheap and work well. I had a couple for my old eGo and I think I paid less than a dollar for them. Will keep looking and if I find one will link it.

Ah-ha found one, it's not the same one that I had but same idea. Joye eGo Button Protector or just Google eGo button protector there are a bunch of vendors that carry them.

Thanks! I do wish I didn't need to get an additional item, however. Which reminds me of one other thing I don't care for on this unit. (And, this is probably just me.) The hard plastic button. On my Pig Cig, which does have a 3click on/off function, the button is soft and I have become accustom to that feel. Most posts I read seem to like the harder plastic button. To each his own....

Thanks for the link! : )

Aha! That explains it. I've only ever used it on my KGo. I don't put these on my silver Ego passthrough because *cough*theydontmatch*cough* (I didn't realize I was so superficial).

There is something vaguely badass about how these look when they're on a battery that's flush and the same color. They're what I ordered for my father, because he's a cigarillo guy and this was the closest 'feeling' combined unit.

I have to admit I do love how they look on my black Ego, not as nice look on the blue one, I do think they look kinda cool on my box mods though (must use an Ego-510 adapter though) I'm not sure how a tank would look on my box mods but knowing me, one day I will and if function is not an issue (leaks etc. ) I won't care so much for at home use LOL.

For the price, dual coil, 4-5 ml capacity , IF you have a juice you really like , I can't see how anyone could go wrong with at least trying these out, I'm pretty impressed overall.

I actually like the stainless steel one on a black battery. It makes it look like a "what the he** is THAT!" kind of thing. Looks really cool with a 650mah battery, because the battery is black, carto is stainless steel and almost the same length - gives it some symmetry, and the tip is black to balance it back out. Makes it look really expensive for some reason :p (even though the whole setup is about $20 dollars:))

I know you just purchased your eGo kit, but if you ever replace it, you may want to look into the Riva. I just replaced my eGo (it was wearing out) with a Riva SE. It's basically the same, but has a bit more voltage, and it has the soft button with three click on-off feature. I got mine at Sweet-vapes they had a good sale plus a discount code, I got the 1100mah version for $38.
