First thing I learned, is that if you have analogs on you, at work or at home, you'll smoke them. We're addicts, and we have to accept that.

I also keep a couple of nic strengths handy. Stronger in the early part of the day, and lighter for later on. Also, listen to what your body is telling you. If you seem more fidgety, vape more. Your body will tell you when you've had enough.

You smoked for years....so it'll take some time to make the switch completely. One day at a time my friend...stick with it, and you'll get it.

Part of it was making sure that I always had batteries charged and ready to go as well as at least one filled cart so I didn't have to wait. You also have to remember that it takes longer to get the nic into your system. So vape often and remember to start before you would normally be smoking the cigarette. I also used to pay attention to how much better my lungs felt in the morning before that first cig, than remind myself through the day that I wanted to feel that way all the time. Lastly, just don't give up. You're here, you want to quit, you can definitely do it, it just might take a little time.

I was one that had to make a concious effort to give up that one that was my sticking point. It didn't just happen.

if you're a dude, get your wife pregnant, if you're a girl, get prego :p

all jokes aside that was my main motivation.. after smoking for 16 years without really quitting once (I did 2 years ago for about 8 months cold turkey) it wasn't easy. But I made sure I was always prepared and had everything handy that I needed (juice, atty, batteries, charger etc..) ... it's convenient to buy a pack of smokes anywhere, it's not convenient to get spare parts in a crunch.

It's been 2 months and I don't really crave an analog anymore... and yes, NOT having any on you will definitely help. That means lighters, matches etc too...it helps to find good juice that you like too, which was a bit of a struggle for me the first few weeks, but now I have a ton and should be good for quite a while.

i definitely notice how gross my mouth feels and tastes after one cig but i still grab one anyway at first it was 3 a day from a pack a day , then gradually a bit worse and worse , vaping is just more effort , dripping every 3 min ,i bought a pcc so batteries wouldnt be a problem and my first week i used 6-7 batts a day and had 3 cigs now im using 2 batts and about 10 cigs

Theres more than just nicotine in analogs that your addicted to, which is scary to think of but anyways, you could try some snus to curve the analog cravings, or you could switch to a different nic strength, or even still.. switch to a higher voltage for a better throat hit, Thats what I did and its working out great

Don't think of vaping as a way to quit smoking, think of it as an healthier was of getting nicotine. This is what I did, there is a lot to be said for the mental addiction to smoking. If you know you can't have somthing it just makes you want it more. I was smoking 20 to 30 a day but once my first Tornado turned up I just stopped with the analogs and moved straight over to vaping 36mg. After 1 week I was down to 18mg and that is where I have stuck so far.

I used to smoke roll ups and still have a pouch or two of Drum in the house but even really think about smoking it. Just to add in 21 years of smoking the longest I have given up for was 1 week and that was with NRT patches.

So there you have it I have not given up, just stopped using ciggys.

I wouldn't beat yourself up quite yet took me a month to quit. But once I found my go to juice it was easier for me it was the Vaporbomb Cafe Mocha and when i wanted a cig the wordupecig RY4. But everyone is different. I have been free 6 mths now you will get there also one day at a time. It takes your body time to adjust its not just the nic it misses. They are right buying new toys never hurts keeps it fun and sometimes you need to get wreckless love my 5V Saber Touch for that. it will get easier in time so don't sweat it keep on vapeing!

I'm thinking like Varal. I'm not completely without analogs, but I have cut way back with 5v mods. And I get a better hit with lower ohms. And we have a freezer of Swedish snus. I know there is more than nicotine I need. I've had ups and downs, but I've gone from a pack a day to a couple packs a week. I look at it as a life change. I didn't start smoking in a day/week/month, so I don't pressure myself. I have quit before, for years. And I was pregnant at the times! LOL Not that I'm suggesting that!
