I'm not sure if I just got a lemon but my Ataman II has some of the worst machining of any high end atomizer I own. The metal tank is unusable and when I contacted them for a replacement I was told I needed to place another order to get it resolved.

Mine is pretty bad, too :( And also CS issues because I was sent the wrong drip tips. I was also told I had to place another order and then maybe we could discuss it. Sorry, I won't be placing another order!

Check out Art of Exhale also for titanium attys.

I have two of the ataman v2 clones, yeah they are grindy but very functional. The design is eloquently simple, allowing top filling coil access while juiced, and brainless wicking. Top it off with super light weight and compact. Pick up a clone or two, for $25 you really can't get a better single coil device. Assuming you don't get a total lemon lol

Thanks guys, I was thinking about getting the Attaman II but after seeing another review about the poor machining and your experiences with customer service not gonna do it. You should leave comments about it on their fb page! I read one review that the clone was crap but at least that's only twenty odd dollars if it is. Too bad, saw so many good things about this atty!

I have a clone also and prefer it. The clone wins on 3 aspects: threads, fitment of most parts and smoothness of juice control. The authentic wins on the afc ring. Although this is subjective. On the clone, you have to loosen the base to turn it. So kind of a pain. However, on the authentic it spins too easily and often moves on its own. So which is really worse? Lol!

It is a great little flavor tank that runs tc well. But, its not worth $200 for an authentic IMO, and I'll never buy another item from Titanium Mods.

So I'll deal with the annoying afc ring on the $24 clone happily. I still have the authentic, too, though.

Great information there. I'm looking at ataman clones now. Is this something pocketable without worries of leaking?

Definitely.
Have a hard time finding a source for the Ataman V2, the Yeahsmo version was out of stock one placed I saw it, and the only other places Google found for me were on Alibaba.com, a wholesale site I believe where you get quotes. I did find
Ataman v2 Atomizer Clone / Titanium RTA / Ataman 2 RBA Clone
Have no idea about that supplier though, or the make of the clone. And whats that gold piece in the pictures, lol. If you know of a good source, please pass it along thanks!

That's the one I have. I think it is the Yeahsmo. I bought mine from Froginfog. They're decent.

The gold thing is part of the base.

I almost went for it, but he doesn't have a secure server and didn't wants ne and address on that, maybe later if they show up on fasttech or if he gets on a secure server. For now I went with a kayfun V2 plus from Fasttech. A step up from my nautilus mini and GS air tanks I hope, though those are good grab and go devices. Still want an Attaman and an Achilles though :)

I ordered my 2 directly from the factory, but that was before froginfog had em or I would have went went them. I've ordered from them before and they are legit. From the factory it was like 70$ with shipping for two. Great atamizer, only slight complaint is the air ring which was mentioned. But I leave it on it's largest which is still fairly restrictive by modern standards, but provides a fantastic flavor vape

Meh, all seem to be catering to days of old mouth to lung type draws/genisis type things or silica configs. Anything from this year that could possibly handle sub ohm with mouth to lung or semi lung inhale? Or just lung?

sub-ohm/direct-lung require a lot of watt hours, which in turn mean a big heavy battery or multiple (lighter) batteries.
If looking for less weigtht (Ti) is the question I'm guessing it is primarily for on-the-go.
On the go you wouldn't want to have much battery weight. (At home you have enough batteries, but while there weight shouldn't be an issue)

imho it is not possible (with current technology) to subohm/direct-lung with ultralight vape setups.
