Any try the "dripping pen" from NicFitNation ?

Just curious if anyone has given the NicFitNation dripping pen a try, and what they thought of it ??

Although I'm using 510 carto's now with a short delrin drip tip, I'm just wondering if it may provide a more accurate drip to "freshen" my cart.

IMHO it is nothing more than a gadget, and I'll tell you why:

The only way I would buy one of these is if it did this:

When the button is depressed, the pen will deliver two metered drops to the atty. In other word flick the button and it squirts 2 drops onto the atty.

The idea of the syringe for the drip pen is nice for preventing liquid from suspending in drip tips, the down side, you can't see what is going on (if inserted in the drip tip to just above the atty) and basically it is just a "fancy" juice bottle.

OTOH in that design with the needle if it delivered a metered amount for each click, as previously mentioned, it would indeed prevent air locking the drip tip.

I can see it being useful for filling cartos perhaps, but not as a solution for drips tips that air lock.

havent tried it myself...
do know you can get them cheaper...or even at a similar price at an auto parts store..

it's a precision oiler bottle pen...

They are well built, but do not work very well. After you press the dispenser button, it takes around 10 seconds for a drop to come out.

Rick....... The reason I was curious is that I've been using carto's with a drip tip and like to "freshen" one once in a while thru my drip tip. I also like the idea of it being a pen style to keep in a shirt pocket rather than carry a juice bottle or a case/pouch (I only have so many pockets, and I'm on construction sites now which don't make carrying "extra's" easy nor comfortable).


Gary...... you bought one of the ones from NicFitNation ?? Bummer if "that's" how it works.

Just got two "pens" on E bay. Under precision oilers they have two refillable ones for 5.95. The container is clear but other than that it works great!
