I have UC, and have been battling it for 3 years now. I think that the only way vaping has helped is that it has kept me mellowed out, and I don't stress out. I have been using three different medications for three years, and my Dr. I think is going to be making a switch soon, so I will see what will be happening there.
If it came to me possibly having to use a pouch, I might consider going back to smoking. I'm saying that, not really knowing what all is involved in that. I haven't done any research on using the pouch as I don't really want to think about it. I guess that the pouch is the last resort tho. I'm assuming that using the pouch lets you get on with life a little better? Others have a much more severe case than I've got.

You might want to check this thread: New to WTA | E-Cigarette Forum

Also there are a couple of old threads in the Health forum somewhere if you can dig them up for some reading.

Good luck, and feel free to pop back in this thread, or any of the others. :)

Nice to meet you oplholik :) actually the jpouch saved my life. I got it when I was 11 years old. It is NOT an ostomy bag. It is the reformation of my small intestines to function similiar to that of the large. I GO just like everyone else does :) the ostomy bag is the last resort.

I've been vaping for 3 months and so far so good I get a bit of a stomach ache if I vape too much though, but that may be normal for others as well. I was just curious if their were others like me and wanted to see how their vaping experience was.

If you are getting a stomach ache, you might try lowering your nic level some, and see if that helps. Glad to hear about the jpouch.
I was going to try the wta juice to see if that would help, but decided to see first what my Dr. has in mind when I see him next Tues. I don't want to be doing two new things at once as I wouldn't know what was doing what. So will hold off the wta for awhile.
Glad it all worked out good for you. :)
