Every two or three tanks I wash and dry burn. But I had a hard time dry burning the vapeonly head. Simply settled into the silicon base it doesn't make good contact, seems to me that the tank presses down to make contact to the base. Anybody experienced the same problem?
Yup. But I usually press them into the base as firm as possible, then fire... As long as I remember to press it in as tight as possible, it burns.

I use food grade cotton thread. Replace them when they're burnt, sometimes earlier. These last batches of silica are not tightly woven, and threads get loose inmediately.
