Anybody else having troubles with menthol?

First off, I like menthol, Lots of menthol. So much in fact, I can't keep it in solution in the juice I make. I've tried 95% ethyl alcohol which helps, but I still have a layer of dissolved menthol floating on top. Is menthol more soluble in PG than VG? (My juice usually comes out at about 90% VG, the only PG is the solvent in the nicotine I buy.)

I use pg for my Methol drops, works great!

I fill up my 10ml bottle half way or a bit more with menthol crystals (Crushed)
and fill the rest of the bottle with pg then get a cup or bowl with water heat up in the microwave for 30 sec.
and drop the bottle in there (with cap and driper on!) and let it sit till water gets back down to room temp,
Take bottle out and shake, if it needs ill give it another go in the hot water!

Sounds like you are filling your bottle with the crystals. I have no problems with half crystals and filled with PG. If you are trying to stay away from PG, then stick with the PGA. It will also thin the VG a little bit for better wicking. Don't forget to shake before adding to your base.

I actually made my first batch today with no problems. Im using one of the glass bottles with dripper tops you will see on a lot of sites. I put about 2/3 menthol crystals (which I crushed down with the end of a screw driver for about 1 minute) in the bottle, then filled the other 1/3 with PG. I then ran the water until it got HOT.. put it in a cup, then put the bottle inside the cup to set in the water. After about 2 minutes I took the bottle out, shook it up and saw that almost all of it was gone. Repeated the above for a few seconds and all was good.
