I would be surprised, I've been dealing with a faucet factory and lead free brass is very hard to work with (breaks easily in machining) and more expensive than standard brass. They would surely advertise it if the tips were lead free. Brass is composed of copper and zinc, not to be chewed-on either.

If you're concerned with health issues, I would recommend stainless, ceramic or glass (pyrex) drip tips.

You should :) I run an online shop for waterfilters, it's been growing out of hand so I ship orders, process service/warranty issues but usually don't answer phone or mail. All the info I have is on the product description, shipping info is there, customers get tracking info and everything else, so there is no need to call really. I'm sure some people don't order because of this but that's life ... I don't want employees so there is no choice really.

This person doesn't have all the information on their site though, there is a glaring lack of information about what type of brass it is.
They did eventually respond to it on their facebook after taking down countless of people questions of the same thing..

For those who have concerns about lead in the brass I use in my tips. All bendable metals contain a very small amount of lead. Did I say very small amount?
Brass has been in our world for thousands of years and is used for many things that are used and touched every day. Brass is used in your faucets in your house, mouthpieces for instrument, brass fitting, brass keys etc...
Lead has been used in the auto industry until the 70`s in the form of leaded fuel and people have breathed those leaded fumes since the automobile was invented. The ground you walk on has lead in it.
You can do a search on brass and find out more if you would like.

We have all seen labels like the one below on just about everything you purchase.
WARNING: The brass components of this product contain lead, a chemical known to the State of California to cause birth defects (or other reproductive harm).

so basically they said they didn't use the safer brass and they didn't care. But I see they are making tips with stainless cores now so I guess they go the hint that people weren't going to by dangerous crap just because it was coated in pretty.

This is good info to know. I just stumbled across this vendor a couple of weeks ago and was admiring their drip tips. Many of them are very beautiful and unique looking, and I had actually been eyeballing one or two of their tips to put on a recently purchased rba.

Old thread but Ill update anyhow. On the site now, all of the tru-stone tips are made with SS. BUT, they seem to use an offensive glue that smells strong and would produce a bad flavor, at least the one I purchased did. I would also be concered that heat and moisture might degrade the glue and end up vaping it. If all those issues were addressed, I love to be a long time customer. Such beatiful tips.

Might just be a problem with the one you got, or I got lucky. Been using one of their tips for around a month now and no glue smell/taste/etc.
