Yep, that's one of the benefits of quitting or switching to vaping. Your senses of taste and smell will perk up -- and pretty quickly, too. Mine returned like gangbusters inside a week. It really hit home for me though one week after I switched to my first E-cig. I was walking through the far end of a parking lot toward a supermarket and smelled cigarette smoke. There was nobody in my vicinity, but about 100 feet away were a couple of people at the other end of the parking lot. It took a moment, but I saw one guy take a drag -- that was the source of the smoke smell. From a good 100 feet away. I could never have smelled that as a smoker. Of course the one smell you're going to be
most sensitive to is cigarette smoke, but still, that was pretty amazing to me at the time.
I also noticed more recently that I can't put tabasco on my pizza anymore like I used to love to do. It's too damn hot now! I have to work on my tolerance to spicy foods again.
