Thinking if I should buy the blemished ones as I want to save money and buy 2, one for myself and one for my dad to help him quit smoking.

The new ones are $144 compared to these at $115, can save $58 if I buy 2.

Anyone else bought a blemished one from Reo mods?

Do they come used or customer returned due to problems with it?

I haven't, canonikon, but I would if one was available when I was ready. I've read post after post after post about how the people can't even FIND the blemish when they get it. Rob (redeyedancer), the maker, is pretty particular about what goes out under his name, and what he calls "blemished" amazes most of us. Ha. I would not hesitate one second about buying a blem. Besides, they work exactly the same....that's the important part. They are brand new...they just have a small "flaw" of some sort in the painting.

EDIT: No....he never re-sells used mods. You can get them from time to time on the Classifieds. They're usually not much cheaper there than they are new.... REOs hold their value really well.

Chances are that you will put more of a noticable blemish on it the first time you drop it or normal wear on the corners from putting it down on hard surfaces etc. They are the Timex of the PV world! Drop them on pavement, run over with your car, drop in water, fall out of your pocket into the toilet, you name it they will keep on vaping! With the money you save on a blemished model you can buy a RBA to go with it! :)

Timex? I was thinking more like TAG.

You dont have to worry about your REO if you drop it, but whatever you drop it on may get damaged...

My first one, a grand, was a blemished mod...and I needed a magnifying glass to find it and even at that i had to really strain to see it!

What Rob calls blemished is almost impossible for us to see!So you're completely safe with buying those!

So many positive feedbacks, definitely getting the blemished ones and save myself some money hehe thanks everyone !!

Also, if anything breaks in the future can we send it to Rob to fix it? or do I have to buy a new one?

I don't mind paying a little to Rob to fix it if that's the case...just don't want my $115 vapor to die like my atomizers or cartomizers or clearomizers. Even though my eGo twist battery is still strong since November...

NAH!!! That'd take all the fun out of it!

OH! maybe make a contest with Rob...if you manage to find the blemish Rob gives you a porkie pic.....if you don't find the blemish, you give Rob two dozen greasy eggrolls.

I told you guys, I'm nutz nut stupid. Guaranteed I'd lose that bet and by the time Rob gets them greasy eggrolls from Hawaii it would look like the dust bunnies I saw under your bed at one time. ;)

There is no such thing as 'blemished Reos'. Rob used to be a covert operator for the CIA and he just can't get out of the habit of disseminating misinformation.

He also knows who was on the grassy knoll but refuses to tell because the guy, (was it really a guy?), uses one of the first run Woodvil's exclusively.

The mod master is a man of many talents.

Rob is a liar, I couldn't find any blems on mine! And to be honest, after 10 days of heavy use, I still can't find any nicks or scratches on it, and this is my all day everyday vape. These things are BEAST. I was orginally gonna get a mini with my tax return for a backup, but I think I might pull trig on a VV. You will LOVE whichever one you end up getting, hurry up and order!

Does it matter what colors they are? Or are they made with different materials?

I see that you have copper, metallic, wrinkle...etc

Are they all the same materials? What is it made out of? Plastic? Aluminum?

Green not really my color, had my eye on the black/black or darker colors, damn that mini polished looks sweet too, wish the Reo Grand have a polished one.
