I'm still in the market for my first e-cig. Did anyone here have an ego before? How is the vapor production in both? The taste?
I know they each have a different atomizer. Just looking for some honest opinions... might be the wrong forum for that :p but still.

(This might not be an appropriate question in this sub forum, if it's not then someone please move it.)

I use an ego- strictly as a two piece. I have an aversion to "dripping", and well, the three-piece in general. It's just not for me. I've been spoiled by cartomizers I guess. During my research and experiment, I had posted on ECF my opinions/findings, and there are folks who feel the exact opposite of me; they get more satisfaction out of the three piece/dripping experience. I cannot fathom it, but to each his own of course.

So I bought the adapter, and am two piecing away. I maintain my KR batteries, for hands free vaping. (I like auto's...the no logo whites from V4L are great, imo)

Brooke, I'm sitting here trying to understand the last half of the reply but I just don't understand... haha anyways always great to see another member so faithful to one vendor. It's hard to do.

LOL! I was joking about not have an ego, as in being egotistical, and that actually I am quite shy! LOL, See told you is wasn't funny! :toast:
I don't even know what an ego is!

I used the eGo before coming to v4l. It wasn't bad, but the dripping and the 3 pieces. . filling the carts and fiddling around with the filler in them just got annoying. It was just by chance someone let me try their new favorite flavor (blueberry cobbler) on a VK . . never looked at my eGo the same. Performance is just so consistent with the VK (in my experience), that it's hard to even compare it to any other pv I've used in the past.

Not impressed with the ego. I completely agree with everyone else. Three piece units STINK!!! They are "old fashioned" to me. WHY DRIP when you can just vape and vape and vape? LOL I really don't get the whole dripping on the atty thing. reduced flavor, eats the juice, constantly having to drip, constantly having leaks (although covered leaks in the ego...still leaks from my experience...while dripping onto an atty). YUCK!

Sorry to be so adamant but I WASTED GOOD money trying that "stuff" out.

V4L all the way baby!!! Get a PCC if you are worried about batt life!! Note: the PCC doesn't work with the XLs. The XL's are cool too but they are LONG!!! I use them sometimes at home just for the fun of it...and always bring 2LXs when I'm going to be away from a power source for an extended period of time hiking all day or something (not enough room for PCC or spare batts).

Personally I take 2-3 regular length autos with me everywhere I go and rarely get to my third during the course of any length of a day. I don't even use my PCC. I would take 4 if I was on vaca due to extra vaping on vaca....due to drinking...LOL I like having batts with me that all look different. Its fun! LOL

I have 4 chargers; 2 wall and 2 USB. I also have a ton of batts because I like trying all V4L stuff out. I use them all depending on my mood. I NEVER PULL MY EGO OUT!!

HAPPY VAPING!!!

Since this thread was already started...I am having the same dilemna...ego/riva vs. V4L.... What is the approximate cart life and battery life on any given day... That is one thing that attracts me to the ego....battery life...and maybe you can put more juice in the carts? I don't know....I guess that's what I've read but I've had no personal experience.

I really want to order my first PV so any thoughts would help. Also - many say manual battery...is that because they don't like the autos on what they have....or what? But, I don't see many folks who like the autos except with the V4L.

I have both and use both. I like the simplicity of the VK.Easy to go when your leaving the house for anything. The vapor is great on both with the adaptor on the EGO the coolcarts are fantastic. But with that said, I have found out for me anyway some juice tastes better on the VK. You cant go wrong with either. But I would recommend the VK UU Kit because it comes with everything you need. The cases alone make the kit worth it along with all the different ways of charging your batts. You can order the VK kit now with 20% off. Excellent deal!!!
