I love my GGTS but the metal react so quickly with my skin and polishing is becoming quite a chore.

I have some ideas on coating my GGTS but was curious if anyone else have painted, coated, lasered their GGTS and would like to post up some pictures and a description of what they did.

Anyone out there with a GGTS and an custom flair?

That carbon fiber looks awesome!!! I would love to coat my GGTS with something that would equal less polishing while still giving off an awesome image!

Just give up on polishing it Hoyt! :)
Or maybe look in trading in for an SS GG? And slap the AVS on it!

I dunno about gold plating as far durability tho.. It does look fantastic (better be for $500 ),
but If I did any coating I would look in to anodizing instead. Pretty easy to get done and less of a damage on the wallet

Living right on the Florida Gulf Coast, if I have to go with an AVS/AFS until Imeo makes more UFS, I likely will go with the plating in nickel or hard chrome.

The salt content in the air where I live is so brutal that even nickel gets wasted fairly easily but for my location, plating is still a better option than anodizing. Or at least it was with my experience in firearms during my 27 years in Law Enforcement.

I found out anodizing does not allow for conductivity so the negative connection through the tube would be eliminated. You'd have to mask off the threads for sure; not sure of any other issues that would arise.

There is a chemical making agent that you apply to what you do not want anodized and it nuetralizes the covered portion from the anodizing process. You can anodize them with the proper prep work, flash coating and chemical mask to make it work right.
