So I got a DSE901, and the cartridges are painstakingly difficult to remove from the atomizer. So I'm trying to get a cart out, the battery is screwed in, and wham, the thread on the battery rips off from the battery. Now I'm wondering if it's any use trying to re-solder the end back to the battery, or should I just buy a new battery? Also, any tips on removing 901 carts?

I bought the 901 from ecigsales.com I'm using the carts that came with it. Oh well, I still have the other battery, battery life is pretty good. Bought it cause it was cheap, and everyone reccomends 901's. I also have the Great White from there, it doesn't hold as much juice, but it gets a much better throat hit. Unfortunately, only one of the batteries works that came with it. The other one works, but seems underpowered, and dies after 20-30 drags. And they don't have any more batteries in stock. But the battery life makes it through most my day, and a full recharge is 2 hours.

Besides looking cool, I'm not impressed with the 901, throat hits are weak, atomizer was coated in primer, that I got rid of by boiling the atomizer, these cartridges are way to much work to pull off, the battery cuts off after 5 seconds, the battery on the great white cuts off after 10, which gives a solid hit, and that battery end easily ripped off.

But I ordered the Janty Dura-C, which should be amazing.

Jane is really a good lady. I would say if you are still in the warranty period, contact her and tell her about your battery issues. The threads should not come unattached from a 901 battery that easily - I had to work hard to get the threads from my first dead 901 battery as it was press fit and glued in there.

Something similar happened to my neighbor and she just used a little super glue. She said it still worked fine after that. She had some that were really tight at first and wiggled them a little back and forth when removing. If you're reusing carts, I find mine will loosen up over time.

Momof3: Yes, I'm now finding that after using the same cartridge all day, it's starting to go in an out much easier, but I'm definately unscrewing the atomizer when removing the cart on the 901 after that incident.

Nicowolf: You think she'll cover that? She said she'd take my dud Great White battery, but it was probably my fault that the 901 battery died. I just got the 901 yesterday, so still within the return policy. I guess I'll ship both batteries together. What's the best way to package these batterys? I'm thinking of just using the foam insert from the package to hold them and then shipping USPS. This battery end didn't seem like it was much glued in at all. I guess I'm doomed to have one bad battery with every kit, hah.
