As Ricky Riccardo used to say, "Let me splain this to you".
FDA & US Customs will crack down soon, and I saw a couple of posts that said they had trouble. I only said to check things out before you place an order to see if anything changed. It was *only* a suggestion.

I never implied that you should not order from Ruyan. Just be aware of procedures. I order almost exclusively from Ruyan myself.

In the future, if I see a problem where you could possibly lose an order, I'll keep it to myself.

As far as I can tell, it's the larger orders that are getting denied entry into the US. From reading several posts and some faqs on China distributors sites, it appears that customs sends the order back. Looks like the buyer here is responsible for the freight both ways and still has no product <ouch>. There is no way all packages can be checked so it's a hit and miss thing.

Oh just a quick addition,

cart refill:

901 6-10 drops
8084 2-3 drops
103 4-5 drops

each drop is equal to about 10 puffs maybe close to an anolog ciggy
some say 2 drops per cig

You must have a different 8084. I use the DSE084 (what ruyan direct sells) and I put double the amount in one cartridge that you do. I also find that the cartridges are very easy to refill because the are not secured inside the mouthpiece. The cart in the 084 is a completely separate cup that falls right out when you flip the mouthpiece upside down.

Here are my drip counts:
M401/2/3: 9-12 drops
DSE084: 7 drops even
DSE103: 9-10 drops

Do you take the filler material out when you refill a cart or do you just drip on top and let it soak down? I take the material out every time, fill the cart 2/3 of the way full of liquid, put the material back in, and add 1-5 drops on top, and then one drop on the atomizer itself.

To answer the4 question about the turkish blend liquid to me it tastes like the Hilton from other sellers but a little overpowering

Had a couple of questions about RuyanDirect

1.) They have a DSE901 starter kit at there site I was planning on getting. Anyone heard of any problems with this supplier's DSE901's. Also how does the 901 compare to the 84mm mini cigarette and DSE103 in terms of throat hit and how long a cartridge lasts?
2.) Anyone tried the mint cartridges from here? Are the close to menthol? Do you recommend them?
3.) Anyone have any experience with shipping times to the US for Ruyan Direct?
4.) What is the turkish blend like?
5.) How many atomizers and batteries would you recommend to last for a month?
6.) How long do the 901 cartridges last (i.e. pack of cigs?)?

1. The 901 will have a lot longer battery life. The DSE084 does have a fairly short battery life, but it also has a VERY short recharge time. You could always order a couple extra batteries if you want something that is actually smaller than an analog. RD's 084 atomizers are great too. 4 hole and very easy to draw on. It does take a few days for them to fully break in and produce a good amount of vapor though. The throat hit (084) is not what I would call excellent, but you can feel it.
2. I received a mint cartridge with my 084 and it was not menthol. It was mint. It was actually quite pleasant. If you have had a Marlboro Smooth (analog), it was kinda similar to that (I liked using the mint after eating...kinda felt like i just brushed my teeth). There was no tobacco flavor at all....just mint.
3. My most recent order from RD: Ordered 4/13, Shipped 4/15, and delivered 4/22. I live in Oklahoma.
4. My most recent order has a bottle of Turkish Blend in it...I will report back as soon as I get to try it.
5. My 084 atomizer burned out in 2 weeks...the switch is incredibly sensitive and got triggered by the wind, causing the mouthpiece to melt...it was a mess. I would try to keep 3-4 on hand, just in case. If you have the cash, you could always stock up though and order a large amount.
6...No idea.

I've heard of hardware orders for suppliers that've been stopped and turned back, as well.

Right now, I think there's a lack of uniformity with enforcement, and what passes by customs. Some seem to think the hardware's okay and others are under the impression that everything e-cig-related should be returned.

It seems like that's the case.

There have been a few personal orders that've been stopped (and reported here), but, for the most part, you're right.

I've ordered 10 or more times from China (both liquid and hardware), and I've never experienced a problem.
