Anyone drill out the kayfun 4?

I'm looking for more air without having to buy the s4 kit, and am wondering if anyone drilled out the air chimney.

Without ruining your kayfun try a vertical build and take out the screw that regulates the air-flow. You can open it up but as far i have read it's not going to be much better.

You can drill the center post with a 5/32" bit, then the small airflow holes around the hex section with 1/16". I would recommend only drilling half of the hex ones, if you do all the center post will become weak. If you go any larger on the center post without a drill press, you may damage the whole thing. I would recommend getting a cheap S4 Kit, as it makes it so much easier and not worth the extra effort of drilling.

I took the screw out and it didn't make any difference which was surprising. I looked for the s4 kit bit it seems like everyone is out of stock or it was expensive. I don't know if it's worth 20 bucks if I can just drill it.
