Anyone else on the 510 Smart PCC?

Not sure I like this thing. Got one recently and thought it looked awesome but I'm having trouble with it.

First, when I close the lid, it doesn't push the battery down enough to get it charging. I had to add a piece of cardboard to the lid to make the battery go down far enough.

Second, while other chargers charge all of my batteries, this PCC seems to not be able to connect with a couple of the ones I have.

Just wondering what experiences others might have had. Did I get a bad one?

I've had nothing but trouble out of mine. It's headed back to MV for the second time. Note on the battery pages that some won't work with the PCC.
