Hey all, if you purchased one of these madvapes 510 SMART PCC (510 SMART PCC) like i did you will note some batteries do not push the spring inside down enough to make contact and charge your battery. Their have been easy fixes to this problem but i think i have found the absolute quickest fix. I simply keep an empty cartomizer condom in my pcc that i place over the led end of the battery before i close the lid. Its not to much just right. Lid closes tight without popping open or any issues.

Hope this helps!

Yep, I had read about that when I was looking to order one. There are several different ways people have gone about applying a "fix" for that issue, the condom on the batt, felt square glued inside the lid, foam piece cut to fit inside the lid, etc. When mine arrived, sure enough, my SLB 510's were just a bit too short. I got a package of clear soft plastic cabinet door bumpers from my "junk drawer", peeled one off and stuck it to the inside of the lid above the battery charging slot and it works like a charm. I tried the condom fix first and although it works, I found it to be more of a "hassle", having to keep one in the box and stick it over the batt. True, it's a "small" hassle, but the cabinet bumper is a permanent fix that involves no hassle. Just drop a batt in and close the lid.

Set it, and forget it!
