Hey guys I was just looking through the weekly flyers here in NB and found that Lawtons Drug store is advertising "Electronic Vaporizers". I cannot tell what brand or anything but I can see the words "Xplorer", "Impulse" and "Capsol" on the boxes in the small picture. They look like KR808 type cigs and are all white including the filter end. Also beside the ad it states in large font " STOP SMOKING AID". Has anyone else heard of this brand or anything? I was quite surprised to see this.

you would think...unless of course, they have submitted some clinical trials to HC and HC have, in turn, provided them with 'market authorization'.....

It would be interesting to know who the manufacturer of these 'vaporizers' is/are. Big Pharma or a subsidiary of maybe? Someone with lots of money and clout to lobby HC? No ... couldn't be ...

In simple terms when we read which hurdles we need to jump through and the cost associated with the hoops, none of us can afford to jump through those hoops. Combine that with 0 nic which is HC's stance and who other than BP can it be? It's all about money and nothing else. I would like to believe otherwise but I know it is not.

The importer/distributor only needs a class 1 medical license to import e-cigs without nicotine, a retailer doesn't need any to sell them. The class 1 medical license isn't all that hard to get from what i could see

How are the "larger" juice manufacturers dealing with the letters they must be getting? Are they just standing up to them and continuing, or is there some sort of loophole they fall neatly within? I don't understand why only the resellers are getting bullied out of existence.

Anyone with answers, please PM me because I need a little comfort on this and I'm not sure anyone wants to discuss loopholes in public!

My local 7-11 has a big sign up on their counter advertising e-cigs as well. Didn't look too close to see any details though.

Oh it was in last weeks flyer. The one that is showing is for this week. But it was there for sure. I actually went in to check them out the day before the flyer went into effect and the people working there had no idea what I was talking about.
The lady said "we dont sell cigarettes", I told her they were the electronic ones and they were in YOUR flyer. They didnt have a copy of the one that started the next day and I never bothered to go back to check them out.
