anyone else ever get a slight shock on the tongue while vaping their reos? I really dont mind it but i was jw.... I have a reo grande

I think mlinky may be right. Hot droplets of juice can come up the DT if you are pulling too hard, especially if you are flooding the atty. When I first got mine, it only took a couple times to slow down the draws 
wow...nope...never been shocked. Just got the hot juice splatter. And just for reference, I've used all the different kinds of tips...aluminum, stainless, brass, glass, acrylic, and delrin. Haven't tried the rubber ones yet. I use 306 and 510 atties and I've used Trustfire, Ultrafire, AW IC and AW IMR batteries. Has your spring collapsed recently?
Im the juice on tongue master! it happens to me every damn day!!! But never felt like a shock.
Wow! Now that is an interesting question. It sounds like you're implying it has happened more than once to you. Also, I would guess if you have a Grand, that you have learned how to flood an atty and boil juice, which always has a way of landing on the tongue. This I've found is one of the learning experiences of vaping. For the sake of argument, let's assume you've learned what boiling juice feels like and you're feeling something different, electricity, because you do know what licking a 9v feels like. If it actually is electricity, then how did it get there and what caused it? Could it be a defective atty, a split second short somewhere, static electricity, or something else?
I don't have any idea what it could be because I'm still green at all this, but I do know there's some pretty good minds in this Reo sub-forum that may be able to come up with a credible answer. What's really fascinating, is watching how they hash it out and arrive at a consensus.

Never been shocked. I have gotten hot juice on the tongue. It happens most when a carto is full and starting to die.
I can assure you its not a shock from the mod. Sounds like hot juice my friend .

I have the same issue every great once in a while with my reo mini, but it happened more often on my 2.4ohm MAP tank. Feels like little zaps/pin-...... on the tip of your tongue.

Agreed, hot juice sucks. My wife always seems to get it when she tries a just filled carto, lol.
hmm maybe it is just hot juice, i just didnt think so due to the fact that i have tasted and had juice on the tongue many times and this felt nothing like it and did not linger like juice does. but maybe the fact that the juice is hot keeps it form lingering like juice does normally?
If electricity was traveling from your Reo to your tongue, you would feel it on your lips first. And I'm not going to speculate what your tongue would be up to in that scenario.
Probably static electricity, are you in socks on carpet when you feel the shock? if it is an aluminum drip tip and you go to vape, it will act as a conductor for the static electricity similar to touching a door knob. Just my 2 cents

Now and then, my Reo will spit out a tiny hot drop of juice right onto my lips or tongue, especially after installing a fresh battery and using a LR atty, and also when chainvaping because the atty is HOT HOT HOT!
Also, if you vape at 5v or higher, I would suggest firing away from your face before vaping - I once got a drop in my eye and was scared to death! A fast rinse with water and all was well, but it was scary
