Anyone ever had this happen? Cartos....

Every time I buy cartos it seems like im doing something wrong. The first couple seem to work ok then further down the line I try and change the carto and it gets really hot like a burning hot inside. These are pre punched boges. They get so hot I can actually see the orange inside the holes from where they were punched. Are these not punched properly? I seem to get this when I order the pre punched ones. Any fix for this? Did the vendor punch them wrong? Or am I doing something wrong when I change them? All I do is change out the carto when it seems to get to clogged. I am thinking who ever punched these damaged the inside and the carto is not working properly. This throws E1 or E8 on my Provari so I know it has to be the carto... Thanks for advice.

Sounds like it's running too dry, not feeding/wicking enough juice from the tank. You shouldn't be able to see the coil glow if there's juice on it. Are you using really thick juice? I vape a lot of VG-heavy juice and for those in my tanks I punch two good sized holes in the carto.

I thought of another thing. Probably a stupid question, but worth asking: are you filling the carto as well, or just the tank?

I think that is what ive been doing wrong now I have dead caros, oh well live and learn. I was just putting the carto in the tank before filling. Sometimes this seems to work but now I know to fill before useing.
