Anyone ever take apart an eGo battery?

Wire disconnected from the center pin. Wondering if there is a way to take it apart and resolder.

I haven't actually done this yet but I do have a twist that after being dropped somewhat excessively came lose and noticed that the wires are no longer connected. I've heard of people soldering them I think you may find this you tube video helpful -

I did that, resoldered, worked fine, be careful you don't put any holes in the casing underneath the solder tab to the batt and if you smell it.....and smell acid toss it away.

if you do that repair, please use lead free solder. Just in case

There are also two other types of solder to be aware of: acid core, use in plumbing, and rosin core, used in electronics.

Be sure to use the rosin core solder.

Post 72 on this link, someone just did it, no schematic. Look for where it may have came from, i know thats not much help, but thats what i would do.

I have one that has a broken wire. I cannot find the other end to fix it. I think it must be down in the battery wrap but I can't tell. I am afraid to pull the whole battery out farther because it feels like somethings holding it in. Any advice? I could try and post pics if needed.

This is why I'm glad Cignot is close to me, if the battery breaks, I can just bring it to them and they'll fix it

Had one where the spring on the button stopped working. Took it apart, new spring, alittle mineral oil to slick it up, and she worked like new,until I dropped it.
