Anyone ever used a precision oiler to fill carts?

Whoops. Didn't click your link. That looks fancy. The ones I use are these:

I saw those on here a while back. If the tip of the precision one is small enough, it seems like it would be a lot neater and easier to use. Plus it has a clip and looks to be pen size.

nice find.
that would look uber cool with the GG.
i stick with the commonly used 3ml droppers.

I can't tell how big the tip is, but it looks like it might have potential. I like using a syringe, except it creeps me out to be seen in public with it. (I have no idea why, it just does.)

Has anyone tried this?

I have one of those. Got it from Sears. I haven't used it. The tip is too big. It doesn't push the juice out. The button just releases a stopper at the end of the needle. The bottles with the needles look much better and from what I've read work well.

I have both types of precision oiler mentioned here. I got the bottle ones from the same souce that Elendil linked to. (didn't see the link and found it by searching:mad:)

The "fancy one" posted here does not work. As stated, it doesn't push the liquid out in any way, just uses gravity. Our juice seems to be a bit too thick to feed via that method.

The bottle ones however work like a dream. I do think that I need to shorten the needle though. (I think this was mentioned elsewhere) Long needle is not really a problem, just a bit awkward carrying in a pocket.

Dumb question, but are the bottle ones actually sharp like a hypodermic needle? I don't know if it will work, but I want something that's blunt because I'm a weenie and I'm scared I'm going to accidentally poke myself with nic juice. I don't know what would happen, but I don't like the ideas I come up with! I worry every time I fill my carts....

Putting drops from a bottle is a little hard and clumsy and you have to watch every drop go in and not spill. I went to the pharmacy and asked for needles but they only sold them in 15 packs like for insulin. Really i don't need that many but they gave me droppers for free that are like a syringe but no needle or cap so those are pretty much usless.

And yeah pulling out a needle in public to fill your cart might make people freak out thinking you are doing ...... or something.

Then you would have to explain to them what this e-cig thingy is like talking to a caveman etc.

As far as the needle goes i'm sure it can be chopped real easy with a dremel tool to the length you need and sand and shape the tip and all that stuff. ;)
