I been using the Vivi Nova 2.5 for a week and I like it way more than my carto/DCT. Before investing a lot in a rebuildable like the DiD I just ordered a clone to see if it's for me.

Anyone know if this is the same as the other clones like the Griffin? COV Gen 1

My two Vivi Nova 2.5 that I bought on Labor Day weekend @ GotVapes are useless, taste awful, BUT I bought 2 also @ GotVapes before that for my cousin and they work great. I even have rebuilt them with cotton wicks and all and still tasting nothing like the juice i tested with (Boba's bounty, and other VG juices). Although some of my low VG from BWB (30%VG).

Don't know. With my PG based juices, the Vivi nova 2.5 works great but once the VG goes above 50% those heads won't wick. AGAIN, my cousin's Vivi Novas work fantastic with all juices.

btw, the COV Gen 1 looks exactly like a DID but i'd prefer to get the real thing.

I own 2 DID's, looking for a 3rd i tried one of those cheap knock off's and sent it back after a day. maybe if you never vaped the real thing you wouldnt know the difference. but save the 25 dollars and you are now 1/4 of the way there. i know there is some logic on only spending 25 dollars to see if you like it first, but the chinese device doesnt work like the real one. after trying the knock off you might say you really dont like it, and never get the true vape that you would if you had purchased the real one first. the chinese DID i found was chrome plated, the airhole did not line up with the wick which inhibits performance. also the center post in the 510 connection would receed into the base, so as you threaded it on to a device it would not make a proper connection. save your money.

Thanks for the info vapdivrr! I know it probably won't compare and be 100% as the real thing. I want to see more if the wick/coil making part is my thing since I'm quite new at vaping. I been reading up and watching as much as I could and it could be overwhelming at times deciding on which. :)

All genesis attys are 2 end caps and 2 screws, they all work the same.I've got 4 of them from the original to the latest $25 clone of the other clones. All work exactly the same. How well they work is up to the individual. It doesn't matter how much you spend on any of these copies.
Read the thread "all my mods" by Raidy, the inventor of the genesis. It will show u how to make on out of a wine bottle cork.

I personally find all of my RBA's to work great, for ME at least. They're not for everyone, that's for sure. I prefer the genesis style over the silica wick attys like Ody and Penelope, but both types have pros and cons. Nice thing about the silica types is they don't leak (or shouldn't anyway) so they're nice for out and about. I save the genesis stuff for at home use. I haven't tried any of the clones, but like many have already said, they're all the same design, with a few small variables like wick/air hole size, and build quality.

You're best bet is to buy a Did clone or "CHID" It vapes as well as any of the other more expensive atties and it a great way to make sure you like them. I have a Zen, z-atty, Cobra and a Did. I think the Did clone vapes just as well. maybe not made with the same quality but the vape is pretty darn close. You can also get clear glass tanks for them now too.

Everyone seems to have such fancy equipment. Ive only been vaping since January but I just switched from the ego-c to the ce5 clearomizer. I like it pretty well so far, and at $20 for 10 replacement heads from the site I use I love the price. I'm all about vaping on a budget.

For some of us this has become more than a way to stop smoking a hobby so as long as you are enjoying yourself and away from cigarettes we are all happy.:toast:

I started on the ego T tank, quickly moved to cartos then stardust clearo's and Vivi Nova.

In the last 2 months though i was was looking for something a bit more, and to get into rebuildables as thats what all the cool people were talking about in the different forums. So i got myself and Oddy v2 and Penelope to start with, and wow, what a difference. Can not speak highly enough about both of them.

Also got a DID clone to try out SS wicks, liked it, but keep going back to the Oddy and Penny as i find them so simple to set up, and the flavour and vapor is exceptional.

bout a week ago I got myself a Z atty Pro and i'm really not sure about it to be honest, it's a very very airy draw.

So in my opinion, you can not go past the Oddyseus and Penelope for ease of use, set up and flavor. I'll keep going with the Z Atty, but just not getting what i want from it so may very trade for another Oddy
