In Singapore, electronic cigarettes (e-cigarettes) are currently prohibited under Secion 16 (1) of the.tobacco (Control of Advertisements and Sale) Act, which is enforced by the Health Sciences Authority (HSA). This legislation prohibits the importation, distribution, sale or offer for sale of any confectionery or.other food product or any toy or other article that is designed to resemble a tobacco product or the packaging of which is designed to resemble the packaging commonly associated with tobacco products. HSA takes a serious view on any person who contravenes the law. Those guilty of the offence are liable to a fine of up to $5, 000 upon conviction

Hi Zeroi, according to this section of the act, I, as a Malaysian, if go into Singapore bringing along an e-cig, would be classified as importing something that is against the law. I can't bear not bringing any of my e-cigs either, as I vape about 5 to 10ml a day.

p.s. Sorry for crashing the SG party, but I'm going to be visiting your fair city soon and I hope I can bring my e-cigs along. If not, gonna get some Marlboros there.

Hello everyone, i'm very new to vaping, tried for the first time 2 days ago, now looking to get my hands on my own kit, (prolly the ego but not comfortable with online shopping and dunno where to buy in sg). Honestly when my friend was vaping in town on sat, i found that not many people noticed, maybe dont bother ba...

But scared one day gahmen send all the nea officers for training on how to spot PVs den maybe will be riskier lo...

Honestly, i really cant accept HSA's explaination on the e-cig ban:
Get the Facts Right! Learn More about Tobacco Products - Health Promotion Board Singapore

"Although e-cigarettes do not contain some of the harmful substances found in normal cigarettes, this does not mean that they are entirely harmless. The nicotine present still poses a health risk to users.

Users may still develop a dependence or addiction to nicotine by inhaling the fine nicotine mist produced by e-cigarettes"

1. Nicotine also present in analogs, nicotine patch and gums wad, how come that's legal?
2. Nicotine is addictive, thats the main ingredient in analogs that creates the addiction, so abit like a +1 to my first point..

jus my lil 2 cents worth..

BTW, can PM me where i can buy locally?? my friend bought online, but i dont like...

This one is the old news, you should check on the below,

my colleague say i suck on marker =.=
Wow. it's a good thing I work alone. Cannot stand ppl asking me "Why got smoke come out of your pen/marker?" Most of the ppl I knew would always ask me whether it's a new type of cigarette. I would just say "Ya"

but then i converted 2 uncle colleagues to it and now we 2 vape inside the office when tau eh not ard haha. and apparently, 1 of them is staying off ecig as well. his intention has been to quit so he occasionally vape when he needs to. but the last time i heard, he hasn't charged his ego-t for close to 2 week ler.. this shows how lil he vapes. (he is completely off analog liao)
so his ego-t has successfully help him quit!

Hi, I am in the USA, just wanted to congratulate you all, for perservering in what seems to be basically a hostile climate for vaping. There are great health benefits. Nicotine removed from the tar and carcinogens is so much better than smoking, but someone/anyone opposed to smoking will see vapor, and think it is the same. If you can get or mix a PG-heavy juice, that makes less visible vapor, that might help for being stealthier with it around others.

I am not familiar at all with the realities of SG officers. Are some of them sympathetic, or closet smokers themselves?

well firstly thx and welcome to this tiny lil part of the world.
secondly, i believe non of us will be vaping infront of the officers
so we (or rather, I ) don't really know how sympathetic they are and to what extent.
Closet smokers? maybe. but they are not allowed to smoke in and around their stations and whilst on duty. But then again, who knows? haha
So i guess its kinda like a hide and seek game over here.
Rule of thumb, do anything you want but don't get caught ;)
