Picked this up from a local shop the other day, didnt catch what he called it and I cant find anything that matches it. Anyone know what it is? Name and brand.

I am new to the rba's this being my first piece. Interested to know the best way to rebuild it. Its a single coil (2mm i think) silica wick that doesnt work well as it is. Its sitting at 2.7 to 3.0ohms (seems to vary)

Can i use a SS mesh setup? Don't know what to do with it yet.. It also came with a sleeve (not pictured) that is too small and rattles when you try to use it to cover the threads on say an eGo-c twist.

I use a eGo-c Twist 1100mah and an eVic so far.

just another variation of the phoenix clones, being stamped out by who knows. if there is an official name or version for it i havent seen it.

got the same one off fasttech and ran it with a 1.6 ohm coil, seems to work pretty good once i opened the airhole just a touch.

as with any pre wired atty from china the wicks usually suck, toss em and make a new one

you can try a mesh wick but i think its pretty tight, i used 32g wrapped on 3 mm wick

Thanks. Was going to open the air hole up a titch... Gotta love impulse buys.. I think I overpaid just a touch. I recognize the name phoenix but it doesn't look like a true phoenix I don't think. Ill tinker with it a bit and see if i can actually enjoy some drops...

the phoenix name is pretty much a style that is gone, and the rest are clones and rehashed of the original idea of a smaller tube body with a side airhole. even the real phoenix is cheap and is plain as day looking.

if your interested check out the V5 and yk1 from fast tech two wicked cheapos with room for playing. 10 bucks will get you both

the v5 has posts for dual setups but not manditory and the yk1 is a super little atty.

about as close to the phoenix as possible lol
