I'm on a ego w/ a LR atty. I really like the way a volt looks & how you can hold it between your fingers lol! I've heard it performs as well as my ego setup is this true?Also I get some funny looks out in public w/ my ego :/ .... I'm looking for a ( go out in public) ecig.

I was using the same setup as you for my work pv, untill I decided to give the volt a try. Needless to say I haven't touched an ego since the volt. It's definately a great carto design and a powerfull little battery. I do have to say if you want to just try the closest posible, without buing the batteries, try the kanger horizontal coiled 510 cartos, you won't be disapointed.

Well no - it will not be as hot as an LR atty. LR stuff is only for big 450mah+ batteries.

Re KR808D-1 slim models - Vapor4Life is 3.7v, Volt is 3.6v. Both are more voltage than your Ego. The lowest cartos they should use are around 2.5 volt and both Vapor4Life WOW cartos and the Volt cartos are around 2.5ohm. The Vapor4Life has a custom 10-13 second cutoff (maximum length drag) and Volt has a standard 5 second cutoff. I only recommend manuals if you want good hits.

I get great hits from the volt. I've noticed with the batteries that I have that the cutoff is not regulated; meaning of four, only one has a five second cutoff, two have a six and the other has a seven. A little inconsistance, but they all are the original unsealed. The 5&7 are the larger and the 6 are shorter. They do also have manual batts but with a double draw you could easily achieve a 10sec draw.

I can't comment on the V4L wow's but I've tried a volt carto on a V4L manual batt and HAD to take a 12sec draw to get as much vapor as I would get from a volt batt.

I have the bloog maxxfusion (which is pretty much the same as the volt) and it performs great.It mimicks a real smoke pretty well!

Vapor4Life is unregulated 3.7v so they are 4.2v right off the charger then have a 3.7v platau then drop off a the end maybe down to 3.4v? The Volt is regulated 3.6v so it's a more even 3.6v with a bit of a dropoff at the very end.

Their cartos are different but they can use each others cartos - try both.

I too have Volts and Ego's. Ego is for home and Volts for work. The Volts for me actually produce they same vape experience except they have a little more flavor. When I say that I use cartomizers and juice from other vendors, I just feel the vape off the 808 right now has better flavor, I use SR and LR with the Ego/Riva 510's. What I am saying is if you want a great slim 808 type ecig, then the Volt is the perfect fit. I use Boge SR carts with 80/20 PG/VG juice and it is awesome on the Volt! The Vape and flavor is compraible to a 510, but the TH is much less with the juice than a 510. Battery life on 808's suck compared to the 650+mah batt's of the Ego/Riva, but thats the trade off. I have a Volt kit and it works great. I use eGo batteries and also. Both work great IMO.
