anyone have a white battery?

I'm thinking about buying an ego twist in white. Do the rubberized white batteries get really dirty-looking? If so, can they be cleaned easily? What about the silver? I imagine the sliver color shows fingerprints.

I have a black one on the way but I have a feeling my husband is going to claim it. I like the pink but I already have 2 pink KGOs and want something different.

If anyone has a link to a good deal, please post it. I think I want the 650 mah size.

I have some white eGo batts. They don't get dirty looking, but each of them has yellow like stains where the batt connects to the metal batt connector. The stains aren't bad, but they are noticeable.

thanks for the reply. sounds like something i could live with. do you think the stains are from the rubberized plastic degrading or from dirt/oil from your hands?

I think it could be from the heat generated by the cartos. Could also be nic from the liquids.

I purchased an Ego-C twist 650mah in white yesterday! I can't wait for it to come in, really excited about the VV and have heard nothing but great things about it. I got 650mah for size issues as well.

I wanted to change it up from the current black & titanium ego's that I currently have, plus from the pictures the white Twist looks real good.

I have a white eGo battery and it doesn't get dirty at all. Love the rubberized grip, it has never slipped out of my hand.

I've had the same two white ego batteries for a little bit less than a year and both of them have developed a slight yellowish tint to them. It's not horrible but it is noticeable. They don't get dirty at all though so thats nice. I just wish i could get them back to that shiny new look!!

Thanks for the replies. I'm loving my Ego twist - I'm definitely getting another one (or two!) in white - I don't want to be without one! Now I'm just trying to decide if I want 1000 or 650 mah.

I'm also going to get a few different colors of nailpolish to mark the voltage dial so I can see what I'm doing when I'm watching tv at night

yeah I had one on the way already, I just knew that my husband would like it and want one too. I suppose that's why I got black. I got it from sweet vapes - should've just bought two when they were having the memorial day sale. I'm still not sure how I feel about the extra length of the 1000 mah... it doesn't bother me but I think I prefer the length of a KGO.

Here is my pink 1100 mah KGO and the 1000 mah ego twist side by side with vision clearos. And a "close up" of the voltage dial. Last night I marked the numbers with different colored sharpies but it has mostly rubbed off. You can still see a bit of color in the etching of the number - it helps it stand out more. Sorry for crappy photo quality but I just took them with my phone.

I went over the markings in sharpie again and took some more pics (outside this time)... you can see there are very slight little hash marks in between the 3 numbers. each line represents 0.2 volts:

Looks great! Thanks for the pics, they are fine. I'm also planning on doing the same thing with the numbers, maybe using a pen style Sharpie. I like how you used different colors for each of the #'s, I was just gonna make them all the same color but your idea is much better.

So I'm guessing it is also possible to dial it in between the numbers and the hash marks? so "twist" in approximately .1 increments?
I know what you mean, I really should have bought two when I did since I know I'll end up ordering another one.

I did see that but was unsure if it was just a typo or something since it's the price of the 650 and I didn't see the 900 mah anywhere else. If it's really 900 (and a little smaller than the 1000 mah), that'd be perfect!

@TH0MAS CR0WN - I don't know if dialing it in between the hash marks will increase it 0.1 volts... I don't have a voltage tester or anything like that. Since it doesn't click in place for any of the increments I suppose it's possible. All those sharpie marks I put on yesterday are gone again from just normal handling (used an ultra fine point sharpie). I'm definitely picking up some nailpolish today to hopefully get something more permanent. Sharpie doesn't do well on metals - I think the natural oils of your hands take it off easily. I wonder if they make glow in the dark nail polish?

Just wanted to add that my first eGo batteries where white, but they did start changing colors at the base like several people mentioned, seemed to be from the heat, and then slowly the whole battery would become slightly "dingy" looking. Also for some reason the paint (it's not really paint but...) started chipping just a little at the top. It's very sad because I love the white, but I have switched to black because they maintain their color.

Just wanted to say my white eGo twist finally came in on Thursday! Here's a quick pic with the Stardust V2:


Really liking how the white one looks. Hopefully it doesn't wear too bad over time. I'm also glad I opted for the 650mah, as it is the biggest size battery I'd consider using for outside the house. Anything bigger would definitely be a problem for me on the go.
