So I ordered one of the new joyetech eGo-c's and it's scheduled to be delivered tomorrow...I remember reading somewhere that you have to break the atomizer in, or blow it out, or else you're going to get a nasty "plasticky" taste to it. What exactly is meant by blowing it out? I can deduce that breaking it in would be to just use it until it's broken in, but I'm just a little confused by the blowing it out...any help is appreciated.

Blow out any of the primer is what there talking about, dont get to excited this Ego C isnt anything that special in my opinion, there are plenty of other PV's that put out a way better vape then this Ego-C, dont mean to be a downer but it's just the truth grab yourself an HH-357 1.5ohm and a drip tip and you will get a way better vape on those Batts then the "C"Atty that's for sure, and thats just one of the better vapes there are many more above and beyond using that Batt, take that Atty and put it on a Reo Grand or Reo Mini and you would be in heaven.

Thanks for the input. And I do understand now about blowing out the primer. Just to be sure, I could get the .357 atty and use it on the ego battery? I see you prefer low-res. as well. And I've looked at mods, and as for right now, I don't have enough money to blow on a decent one, and I'm not really sure if I want something "box" shaped, but the Reo Grand does look pretty nice, either way.

I just got 1 today because i like the tank system , but i find the Ego -T attys to expensive That is why i bought the Ego-c . the coiler heads are cheaper. To remove the nasty taste at first use simply blow out the coiler head or ad 1-2 drops of liquid in the coiler and press the activation button 2 -3 times , no big deal
About the vapour prodution it isnt that good , but u can simply solve that by buying Lr coilers heads for the ego-C.
I do own several pv's -mods but i find them too big to carry around when im out of house , and here the ego-c is great.
The Ego will always be my favoritte for out of the house use

Resin, I own and like my eGo-C atties--both the SR and LR. They need some maintenance, though, as the coils do get gunked up a bit. Here's a very nice post that you may find useful:

Good luck with your new eGo-C and happy vaping! :)

Thanks I will definitely look over this when I am able to start vaping again. I just had my wisdom teeth out (6 of them), and it's been about 60 hours with no nicotine whatsoever. I thought at this point I would be going crazy, but to be honest, I haven't really even thought about it, other than the fact that I ordered some new juice and some new carto's and haven't been able to try them out yet lol.

Yeah, my face was absolutely huge. I have gone 80 hours straight, with absolutely no nicotine. I don't think I've gone that long without some form of nicotine whether it be analogs, the patch, the gum, vaping, etc. since I started smoking when I was 15...partly because I don't want to risk dry socket, and partly because I'm stubborn and want to push myself to see how long I can go...so far I've surprised myself.
