I've completely quit smoking cigarettes over 3 months ago. Once and a while I'll still let myself have a nice cigar. I don't feel like it would have much if any affect if I just have one on rare occasion. Also, I feel like cigars are on a different class than cigarettes. I know that nothing compares to cigarettes but really NOTHING compares to a good cigar. What's your thoughts on this?

Same here. I quit my 2+ PAD cigs a few months ago, but still enjoy the occasional cigar. I still have a few humidors filled with my favorite premiums. When they run out, maybe i'll get more, maybe not.

I figure it's like cutting back on red meat-- i ditched the burgers and crap, but an occasional Porterhouse is sex on a plate...

I have an occasional cigar and I also smoke a pipe. I have cut down substantially on both since I started vaping. I'm not worried about the health risks because I believe they are both much less risky than cigarettes.

They still present a problem for me though. Unless I want to lie, which I don't, I am still forced to claim myself a tobacco user on my health insurance policy at work. I probably should give them both up because my employer charges an extra $90 a month for tobacco users.

the last time I went cold turkey on the cigs I lasted 1 year, but then the cigars trapped me back! it was just a little inhale (to the lungs) here and one there and BAM! back to square one!! Right now I have 3 Cuban Montecristos and 2 Cohibas at the fridge just waiting to be shredded and turned into juice, no more smoking for me!

Since there's no way I'd ever get hooked on cigars and I DO enjoy a nice Cohiba once or twice a year...yes.

Behind you!
Once in a while, I enjoy a fine cigar. Although its been a long while since my last. Weddings, Birth of a child... those rare, sweet moments of life when a cigar just seems right, why not. I would never smoke them regularly, and I would definitely never go back to cigarettes after vaping so yeah. Allowing yourself a few minor indulgences every now and again makes life worth living right!? Just my :2c:

It's not like this is AA where if you drink a $700 bottle of scotch with your friends/fam on every new years eve you are by definition an alcoholic. It's more like, this is the place to go to help stop the daily use of burning and inhaling tobacco. So, enjoy that cigar, but I can tell you using a sub ohm coil on a nice mech with the right RY4 will shelve those in no time flat. :D

A guy at work who smokes some really good cigars gave me one recently....it sat near my computer for about a month (this was shortly after I'd started vaping) and for a while I wasn't sure if I'd smoke it or not. I used to smoke cigars occasionally, good ones too, but hadn't for a long time. Finally I gave in and smoked that cigar...it was a very good Cuban cigar....and OMG was it good! None of it went to waste!
