I have a 30B that I've been using for a while and a Pro Tank 3 both BDC. I have to say I do prefer my iClear 30 over either of them. I've had issues with both of the BDC's leaking through the atty and never have that with the iClear 30 which is top coil design. I've replaced the atty's and checked and re-tighted and checked and still have leaking. Maybe atty's not sitting correctly, maybe I'm just taking too hard of a draw I dunno. So far I'm mixed on them but I like the variety and that juice won't crack either the 30B or the PT3 so I keep them around for that reason.

I have had an iClear 30b since before Christmas. Up to that point, I had been using iClear 30. Tried a Protank but it was too airy. The iClear 30, on the other hand, is a bit tight. Need to unloosen it a bit to get the draw correct. The iClear 30b has the perfect draw for me. I loved it. Had troubles with the first set of coils that I got. They were only lasting about 4-5 days instead of at least a couple of weeks for the iClear 30. Once I got that straightened out, I ended up stripping the threads on it. It uses the same tank as the iClear 30 and 30s which are top feeders. Since it is a bottom feeder, you would think the fill lines would be reversed but they are not. Twice after cleaning it, I screwed the tank in the wrong way. I guess after a couple of times, the threads got out of sync and it began gurgling on me and I would get juice in my mouth. I put it away for a couple of weeks and picked up an Aerotank. Figured that I could adjust that to give me the same draw as the 30b but, even though I like it, I have troubles keeping it adjusted properly. Took me a couple of weeks to figure out that the tank on the 30b was the same as the 30. Swapped tanks and now am back to loving the 30b. By the way, I ordered it from MyVaporStore and they send me a new set of coils when I had troubles with the first set. Very good customer service.

My 30b is a B-. It leaks out the bottom - irritating, but not horrible. Lots of vapor at first, but no flavor. The atomizers do not seem to hold up. Can't get a week out of them. I have a couple of used atomizers soaking, but have not tried to bring them back to life. The only really good news is that you can run them nearly dry without a burnt hit. Have a 30s on the way, and am hopeful... Was using Vivi Novas, which give better flavor, but taste burnt at a 1/2 tank.

Running them at 4.34 Volts (9 Watts) on an eVic.

About ready to give up on cheap tanks.

I have a 30b. The TANK is fine. The first 2 coils that I used were total junk. Probably just poor qc from Innokin. The next coil has been going very strong. Flavor is fine, vapor is fine. Is it my favorite bottom coil tank? No. Is it better for ME thank my pro-tankIIs? You bet your .... it is. Will I be ordering more of them? Probably not. The Aspire bdc is still my favorite bottom coil tank.

Agree with ian91. 30B > 30S > 30. There's nothing wrong with the 30 / 30S just prefer the 30B. I've also figured out that you can adjust the "tight draw" to an airy one very simply by just removing the top flavor wick or better yet just replace all the wicks with cotton. I've been running all three of mine with cotton snuggly through the two coils. Performs a little better that way for me.

I went ahead and ordered the Cool Fire 1 which comes with the iclear 30b. It will be my first time using tanks, was wondering what are the possible avenues for leaking/flooding to occur? I'm a little confused with all the readings. Is it via the coil in the tank or simply from the tank's bottom screw?

Or any prevention methods ie. tapes, washer or something?

so far i have done about 4 refills on my new 30s with 1 wash/soak in between(changing juice flavour). Vaped it on all 3 of my mods (svd, mvp2 and nemesis clone). No leak so far which is so much better than the last innokin i tried (iclear 16-leaks very often). For this 30s i didn't add any washer or did any mod to the tank. I guess you just have to make sure you don't overfill it. As for low juice's vacuum issue i haven't had any of it yet as the last tankful i vaped till almost very last drop left in tank.

From my experience with iclear 16, kanger evod and vivi nova(which i experienced some form of leak), often the cause of leakage is where the atty joins the mouth piece/drip tip, whereby juice leaks into vapor channel and got sucked into your drip tip. Alignment of these joints is crucially important i guess. For my vivi nova, the case was that the center post went outta alignment.
my 2c worth..

Thanks a lot vantage07 for your insights. For one, it is pretty heavily mentioned not to fill the tank full or probably slightly below 2.5ml mark. Will take note on the crucial alignment of the joints. I'm just worried about the 30b bottom coil if it is a contributing factor to the leakage which I assume will be since the juice may leak into the vapour channel as I suck from the drip tip.

I have the cool fire 1, and it works great with the 30s. The 30b wasn't bad, but I replaced the coil, now it floods out a lot. I picked up a x.1 the other day and I love it, but it has a very airy draw. I personally like that but if you don't it probably isn't for you. It is also the only Pyrex tank I have seen from Innokin. The coils are interchangeable with the 30b tho. looks pretty nice on the mod too. image.jpg

Nice. The tank is called x.1?

When you mentioned flooding, which avenue did the liquid usually escape from? Beneath the coil?
