I placed my first order Friday with www.vaporium.ca . I went with them because they have sample packs so I can experiment and they have the eGo kits. I received an emailthat they sold out and my order would be shipped when more came in.

Here we are Tuesday and nothing has been shipped yet. I was told by the owner that I would be shipped xpress post no charge, which is stepping up, I will definately give them that, but it still doesn't totally soothe the anxiety. I hate waiting and being my first order with anyone (I shop online a lot) it keeps that little trigger in the back of the head saying, cancel the friggin order allready and order somewhere else...

I hate when online shopping carts allow a purchase when there is no stock. There's no reason for it with the inventory tracker packages out there.

I don't know what to say with this vendor as I've heard neither good nor bad regarding them and they are quite new.

Hope it goes smoothly for you so your not kept waiting too long, and for you to start vaping with a positive dealing under your belt.

VapeOn,
Greg

cheers. I've learned with dealing with one major store I buy from to call or email before hitting send but that is an exception to the normal rule. My instincts were to go with another vendor at first but the dam sample pack grabbed me... this other vendor posts here a lot and answered my emails fast. I was going to hit the pay button when I found another site through the vendor area here and they take paypal. paypal uses my credit card so has added security... I'm not worried about losing my money, just didn't want to have to buy more analogs... man I hate waiting. looks like I won't have my setup this week though....

and I told the other band members I wouldn't be needing to take smoke breaks this friday... now they'll think I'm flaking LOL

I did just get an email, but no shipment in yet. at least he is keeping in contact. if it was a scam, they usually disappear and become hard to reach after they get your moola... more just frustration. I truly believe this is what I have been looking for to break this stupid smoking habit. this forum is another part ofthe support thing. I find myself reading here and learning new stuff. I'll be modding these puppies in no time... I have a few different types of lipos and some programmable bec's (voltage regulators basically) capable of 10 amps draw, so can play a bit. it's a cheap hobby really... so it has my interest

Welcome, Pipeous!

You're absolutely correct in your instinct that vaping is exactly what you "have been looking for to break this stupid smoking habit." I was one to two packs a day, for years - and overnight I went to nothing, all thanks to vaping. No stress, no withdrawal - as easy as proverbial pie. Haven't looked back since!

Hopefully everything works out with Vaporium. But if it doesn't - Jack at Happy Vaper will always, always take the very best care of you as far as your hardware needs go (ditto DIY flavourings, etc). There are also a good number of Canadian suppliers that offer premixed e-juice with nic, as well as flavourless PG or VG with nic for DIY.

By all means, stay strong & let us know how it goes. We're here for you!

P.S. What kind of a band are you in? Jazz? Rock? Alt-___? I'm a musician too.

I just emailed to cancel my order. I don't feel I should have to wait for items to come in stock to complete my order. I am going to place an order with another canadian supplier

I agree Pipeous - if they don't have it, there's no reason why you shouldn't go somewhere else.

Seeing your location...I'd recommend NicFitNation (nicfitnation.com). They're in the same province as you - prices are a little bit higher than elsewhere - but their juices are well-known, even amongst big-name vapers in the States. And their eGo batteries etc are genuine Joyetech, not knockoffs.

Alternatively...I wrote a long post the other day for Bluefosho on Canadian suppliers & good choices for newbie vapers. It's post #3 in this thread:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/canada-forum/153663-supplier-do-you-recommend.html

Best of luck, & anything we can do to help...don't hesitate to ask. As Red Green says: "We're all in this together."

thanks for that. that's not a name I found in the canadian suppliers section. I can only go by what I read. you people are so very helpful. gotta say their cost on the ego t is much higher than evapers though. $20 more. ya you get 2 more tanks and 10ml of liquid.

They're located in Gibsons. Hop on the ferry. ;)

I posted this elsewhere, but... their price on the kit is higher, however their price on the spare parts is lower. They do have a coupon code for 10% off: vapezone

Sometimes, I find I'm willing to pay more to get my products faster. Otherwise, I'd order everything from China.

wow you guys are fast. ok that makes things a little close. equal really when you factor discount and the extras

Well, we are all Canadian here. We live to serve. :)

The other benefit to NFN is that they offer the eGo-T in both stainless and black. For me, that was the dealbreaker. (Or maker, as it were.)

forgot. I play cover tunes with a couple groups. one I play bass and do lead vocals, the other I am playing guitar and doing lead vocals. the guitar is a midi guitar I just put together so can do keyboard stuff. I also do write my own stuff. for many years I've been a garage star LOL. just plunking on my acoustic. recently met people in our complex that play, we have a common building we jam in and it's gone from there. the drummer and I play in both bands. this is why I am really wanting to quit. can't hit some of the notes I used to when younger. I know it's still in there but feeling pretty tight. each week I get stronger but I know to sing stuff like journey again, I have to get in better shape

I am also a singer (although no longer do it professionally). You will definitely notice your voice come back. After about 3 months I was hitting notes I hadn't hit in 15 years. Do remember to drink a LOT of water, however. Vaping dehydrates you, and I've noticed if I don't drink enough water my vocal chords will close completely. :2cool:

man it sure seems tough putting together an order. I see evapers has the kit, dekang tobacco flavours don't mention what pg/vg mix it is and you can coose 100 % either pg or vg for other flavours. I thought it was best to mix this stuff?

nfn seems to be low on all flavours haha.

From what I've read, you're going to want to keep the VG ratio in your juice on the lower side (I think I read 70%PG/30%VG) for best results with the eGo T. If you choose to go with Dekang, you'll be fine - their juice is PG.

For Dekang, my personal preference is 555, followed by RY4. 555 is a little on the nuttier side, compared to RY4's sweet caramel undertones... so 555 is a little closer to a Canadian cig, IMHO.

the goal for me isn't to make it a living. I just consider music a hobby nowadays. I buy a lot of equipment but it's just toys like the rc cars hehe. when I was a musician I couldn't afford all the cool toys. I run my own business now and doing ok. not sure I could handle being on a musicians diet again (kraft dinner and peanut butter sammies)

ok so nfn gives me 2 choices of juice.

Personally, I have yet to try their juices. Noiz gave the following review though: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/canada-forum/148418-nicfitnations-e-liquids.html

You could search for other reviews here on the forum by typing "nicfitnation" in the search box. Generally, I like to look at reviews done by Canadians, as our tobacco tastes much different than in other countries.

From Noiz's review (in regards to the two available juices):

Nuttelabacco - This is a very dry, complex flavor. Not sweet and chocolaty like I expected but very good none-the-less. I get an earthy, hazelnut inhale and light tobacco to accompany on the exhale. I let a smoker try this juice and he replied he would consider giving e-cigs a shot just because he liked it so much.

Swisher Spice Cigar - Tastes like VST liquefied a swisher sweet, bottled it and shipped it to me. Not very much of an alcohol dipped flavor but a nice complex clove that really makes the juice a bit shocking in it's realism (at least to me)
