I had to clear up any confusion mate, you know how some people like to gossip on here, not mentioning any names

TERRYcough, cough, cough :p

I'm seriously thinking about getting a coil building rig like Lisa's. I have to do my wicks in the kitchen - better lighting in there. But at night, it's still difficult to do a decent micro-coil. So some sort of magnifier probably would help.

I've just put one of my new AW IMR batteries in the Provari, I can actually notice the difference from when I was using my Panasonic batteries, I seem to be getting a bit more vapour from the KFL now

Funnily enough i am noticing more and more how juice tastes better on the provari rather than another mod. I was sure it was just in my head, but i have been reading through an interesting thread today which basically shows that when you fire lets say a vamo the flow of volts/watts you are actually getting is far more up and down in tiny fast spurts as compared with a much smoother flow of power from the provari. Nice to know that i wasnt just imagining it!

Ahhhhhhh, I've been looking at the IBTanked Halfling with lust in my eyes, BUT I cannot justify the expense of mini-cartos when I buy Boge 35mm & 45mm cartos in bulk for my polypro & pyrex carto tanks already :/ If there were a way to coil for a cartomizer, then I'd consider it, but I haven't seen such a thing yet :/ :)

Yep, those halflings are nice, at least for looks... not quite so practical for me in terms of capacity. I love the look of the IBTanks on provaris though - even nicer than the high end RBA/RDAs and i find myself increasingly turning to my smok carto tank these days - always consistently good flavour and minimum of effort involved - i just dont like the look of the smok tank - it stands out like a sore and ugly thumb!

Wish I could but my credit is way below par due to immaturity and impulsive shopping a few years back!

It's sort of creamy and fruity, but a bit bland IMO, nowhere near as nice as the likes of his wham bar and fizzy trifle.

Lol, it's up to Terry to let you in on it - my lips are sealed! :)

I intend to try a few more of the trip hammer flavours soon. I fancy the tripalero and one or two others that i cant remember. I liked wham bar, but not on a par with fizzy trifle for me :)

I've read in the other thread that there is a massive typhoon heading toward Hong Kong. They say that it's worse that ever before :/ It's hard hoping no one comes to harm and stays safe and also hoping your goods get through quickly so your waiting time in not extended... makes me feel petty and selfish :/

November 8, 2013 - Super Typhoon Haiyan is moving off of the Philippines. It had 195 mph winds when it made landfall Friday morning.

I agree with you about the capacity of the Halfling tank, Cody... not rational at all :/ But I ADORE the looks of it :p I may get it anyway and just use a 35mm Boge carto with it LOL I have quite a few grommet tanks, which I love, but don't have that gorgeous polished look like the capped tanks =] My silver caps were destroyed after being soaked too long, but I've only gotten the golden ones and some really sorry black ones that don't grip the carto properly :/ I should try to put new o-rings in the black caps and see if that'll help. They've been like that since I got them in, so it's doubtful.

I heard about that storm earlier on the news... sounds like a bad one, but at least they got a fair bit of warning so hopefully (human) losses will be minimal. Still, i understand that you would want your things, thats just human nature and nothing to feel bad about :)

I think it would definitely be worth a try replacing the O-rings - they are so cheap that its worth a go. I was chatting to someone in the provari forum and he had been sent a tiny little mini-halfling tank which had a capacity of 0.4ml!! It would have been no use to me, but looked amazing!

If i were a businessman, or even had a bit of money saved i would seriously be considering opening up some kind of vapestore now, even online, but i would want to get the rights to sell some of the US stuff over here - IBTanked would be my first stop for sure. I'm sure there must also be a hell of a lot of money in for people who make their own juices to sell - it would be so easy to pick up a load of recipes off the internet then incorporate them onto your menu and play around with some new flavours. Once you are established with a decent reputation and if you chat on the forums, make sure your customer service is excellent then word spreads quickly and with ecigs being such a fast growing market then so many people are going to make a lot of money out of it.

Well, Cody... I personally know three people who have or have had their own vape shops. One does juice and Joyetech out of her home... she's a nut, another just closed his Valley View Vapes store, where he sold vape gear, and my final friend just started his own juice company. It's not as lucrative as you imagine...

Yeah, businesses are always more difficult than you think. It's easy to simplify things in the way i have just done ;)

I know there are loads of vape stores opening up all the time (the city where i live is only really a small sized town but there are already 2 vape stores that i know of and 20 miles down the road to the next city - again a fairly small one, there are at least 4 vape stores i know of) so competition is fierce, but if you can get yourself established and gain a reputation of selling quality products with excellent customer service then now would be the time to do it - the number of people i see vaping in my small town is unbelievable these days - i actually see more people vaping than i do smoking.

With a bit of luck it may blow my stuff over here a bit quicker  Although it may get damaged in transit.

Update,

My second order consisting of chi-you, curved s/s tip, and the kick, have now been dispatched to overseas. At least one of my orders is moving.

Let me know what you think of the kick when you get it terry. I was thinking of getting one for the ba gua so i could use it a bit more. I'm always worrying about over-draining the battery.

Well I'm back and stinking (no bath yet) - so you can stop talking about me now :p

Another update - my FT order has shipped (the one with the tanks and display stand). So that's 2 orders on the way and 1 still waiting to be shipped. In fact, I might get 2 lots of stands - FT sent me 2 emails to say the order has shipped, wonder if they've sent it twice

Yes there will be an update when it arrives cody, that is one of the reasons i want one mate; just for that bit of extra protection in my mechs.

If they are any good i will probably get a couple more as well.

Terry - you're teasing me now.

Claire - second card in your hubby's name.

Lisa - I bet you get your display stand before me.

Cody - I've had my own business, believe me mate, it's a lot harder than it looks. For me it was 18 hours a day, 7 days a week. Went down to 10 stone in weight (from 12.5). When things are going well, it's amazing. But when the hard times hit, it's an absolute nightmare. Not trying to put you off honest.

Think that covers everyone

Hey, you arent putting me off, because i would never do it in the first place unless i had a load of savings which i was willing to sink into it. My dad was a self emplyed builder / joiner and a few of my mates have (or have had) their own businesses with varying degrees of success. I'm happy with the job i do now, and it's rarely stressful and i certainly wouldnt want to risk quitting to try setting up my own business, but in the past i've had jobs i hated where i would have jumped at the chance.

Might be an idea to have a 510 connector built into it Cody - make things a lot easier for coil building. I've seen a couple of stands with the connector built in, it's a really good idea.

Don't get me wrong mate. At first it was the best thing I ever did, had all my family employed. Plus I got myself a decent car and TV and a few other bits out of it. But when I sold it after 8 years it was a relief. The problem I had was major competition, when Primark opened close by. Went from having 5 staff and a 500 sq/foot premises, to 1 staff and a 200 sq/foot premises. That's the main problem with any business, the competition. I'm happy enough now getting paid from someone else and knowing it's a guaranteed wage :)
