Cool Ian, if they happen to arrive before Christmas, just hold fire til after the holidays - post office is bad already, only gonna get worse, I had go in yesterday and walked straight back out - the other half can do it in morning for me!
I think with my December vape allowance I'm gonna grab 2 originals - I've got 60 notes aside for juice and 2 more Panasonic batts (best EVER!) left out of Novembers allowance, so rather than dribble a bit here and there on FT and stuff to play with while waiting for FT, I may as well grab some quality items that will arrive soon, vape well and last me.
With the Aga Ian, I vape her on a 1.7mm micro coil, 12/11 wraps (done your way, wrap 13 then undo first!) gives me 1.8 - 1.9ohms and have it at 4.2v on vamo, soon as I start getting that tight, suck your cheeks in super hard and get a pathetic poof of vapour, draw, I take cover of, slide out gunky dark wick, pulse crud off coil and slide in fresh cotton.
I get avg 2 days off the wick and coils go on and on til I get bored or drop it!

Not had a play with the Rocket yet mate. Ended up giving the Vmod a good clean, out in a fresh atty too. These AMG hybrid attys are amazing. I've had the Vmod for over 7 months now and this is only the 3rd atty I've put in it. Considering I use it every day at work, vaping about 2-3ml through it, 3 months on one atty is bloody good going. Only reason I changed this one is cos the flavour was getting a bit muted :)

You can't beat a bit of fresh sex at night

I still like my Vamo for the aga, I find I need to adjust the wattage a little as I go through a tank. Start off at 7 watts then up it to 8 or 9 watts as the cotton wick starts getting a bit funky. Plus I use the SVD mainly for evods now. My evods are ok on a mech, but I seem to get slightly better vapour production on the SVD.

Burnie, stick with the Fogger mate. When I first got the ithaka, it was an absolute nightmare. Flooding, leaking, dry hits, juice in the mouth. You name it, I had the problem. I must have spent a good 2 days solid playing with it, just ask Terry. Finally, I got the thing worked out. It's very finicky, but when it's working right (75% of the time) it's a superb vape. So don't give up just yet :)

Honestly Claire, a good clone is a great vape. But once you've tried the genuine article, you will notice the difference. The clones tend to need a bit more TLC, whereas a genuine Kayfun or Taifun takes a while to set-up right. But once you hit the sweet spot, my god, their superb. All my clones, I'll use 24mg nic juice in them. But the genuine stuff, I need to use 18mg instead.

I've just been trying to order the Russian 91 again, but for some reason the site won't let me. Probably a good thing, I've got too much stuff already

I'll let you know as soon as the parts arrive from Lisa, might take a week or two though.

I agree with Ian on this one burnie,

Don`t give up just yet. I had all the same problems with my rocket, and actually put it away thinking it was duff. Anyways after reading some more reviews, and finding out that it was only the seals i dug her out again; and boy i am glad i did.

A quick change of the bottom seal, and filling using the upside down method (when tightening the top cap) It is the best vape i have ever had, over 15 months of vaping.

So stick with it mate, read some more reviews, tinker some more and i am sure you will solve it.:)

No problem Claire, I know what you mean about Xmas post. So it will be best if I hold on to them until after Xmas (as long as they arrive before then ;))

I'd recommend the Taifun - if you can find it in stock anywhere - it's a superb original

Glad the coiling is working out for you too. I think we all have our little tricks that seem to make a big difference. I can usually get a good week or so out of my cotton coils, but as you know I do like to swap devices around a lot during the day. I guess if I was using the aga constantly, it would probably last me about the same amount of time.

Ok so it's confession time again, I've been spending - don't tell the Wife

Got an e-mail from vapage that they've got a BOGOF offer on the Vmod, for the end of black Friday sales. So I've gone and ordered another Vmod 2.0 (mini) and a Vmod XL (full size), plus a few seals and bottles. So basically I've got one of the Vmods for free. I still feel naughty though

That's why I'd like a good collection of RBA's - can have them all set up ready coiled, wicked and full of juice, sat on top of their own mod, and a dripper on the K100 for trying out new juice - that would make me a truly content vaper (though I'd still probably want more!)
I'm gonna have a quick google now and just purchase a Taifun before I spot something on FT and blow a oner on bits of stuff that I won't want by the time they arrive! Any recommendations for a second one? I'm gonna check Rocket Science Mods but not holding out too much hope.
I'd imagine the originals comparison to clones is similar to hair extensions,
Cheap clip ins do the job but a hassle to get looking right, constantly adjusting them and need replacing after a month or two due to poor quality, but did the job while they lasted = clones
Keratin bonded 100% human hair A++ quality are way more expensive, take a little time for your hairdresser to put in and blend, but there's no daily faffing about, easy to look after them yourself and last up to six to eight months if you have maintence checks every 8 weeks or so and when the are removed they're such good quality you can use the hair again and just pay for hairdresser to put them = original
........................gonna track down a Taifun now lol!

Update.................. Claire check you tracking, my order of the brass nemesis, I atty, and mod stand arrived in the uk yesterday Big whoop. Also i just re-coiled the rocket using doubled over 3 mm wick, 6 wraps of 32 awg 2.5 ohms :p.

A bit too high for me that, so next time i think i will use 3mm ekowool again, and i need to get some smaller gauge wire.

Well I don't have much hair anyway, so extensions wouldn't be much good to me

Anyway here's a link for one if you haven't found one already :

Taifun GT Evaporator - White Fog Ltd - E-Cigarette Shop UK - Best E-Cig & Liquids

As a second choice I'd recommend the Kayfun Lite from cloud9vaping. I've got the older Kayfun Lite, but the new version is the Kayfun Lite Plus. I think their out of stock at the minute, but they're normally pretty quick at re-stocking.

Both the Kayfun and the Taifun are equally as good, absolutely amazing vapes when coiled up right.

Happy days mate, looks like you'll have some new toys pretty soon then :D

Do you normally use 32 guage wire Terry ?? I've only ever used 30 myself - apart from the stuff I got from liberty flights, haven't got a clue what guage it is though it's really thin stuff.

Time for me to go now anyway, very early start tomorrow.

See you all later.

good night mate see ya tmw,

Yeah i have just used the last of my 32 gauge Ian, i am going to order some 30 in a minute as i think the 32 is just a bit to much. I can`t believe i have gone through ten meters of wire over the last few months

Cheers Ian, white fog is the only place I can see selling in the UK. Other half told me to put my card away and he'll get it for me tomorrow.
December vape budget still intact :D
I've no chance of a rocket science mods Rocket, sold out in under 5 mins when they went live at weekend, no more til 2014 and he posts updates on Facebook only and I don't do Facebook.
So kayfun is the likely bet, I'm undecided between the lite and the 3.1 - googling leads me to believe 3.1 is superior, think I'll see if I can find any comparisons in RBA forum here.
Anyhow, Taifun GT will be heading home to Mama this week - bet my FT vape mail arrives same time and won't touch any of it cos I'll be perfecting my Taifun! Too excited :)
Night Ian mate.
Terry I had 32ga and got 50m of 30ga from that place you mentioned. Perfect resistance for mech or regulated and super easy to work with - I can finally do perfect micro coils with this wire!
I'm gonna check tracking, fingers crossed there's an update to keep me from thinking it's got lost on its way!

Advance apologies for the multi multi multi quoting to follow! I'd just been trying to catch up!

Wow, I've missed lots!
Ian, happy birthday!
Epipeman, happy birthday!
My, American friends, happy thanksgiving!
Lisa, thank you muchly - plenty of spares to keep my Aga running for years :D - let me know the damage when your about so I can square you up! Scrap that, just emailed you! Thanks Lisa :)
That aftershave you fellas was on about, I remember picking old spice for my Dad when I were about 5 one Christmas - nowadays his taste (or should I say my Mum's :p) is a little more expensive in slappy chop chops, Joop these days - might have get him old spice this year for a laugh!
Codz, I've had my eye on the doodlebug for months - before I even knew what RBA meant! I've gotta get one now I'm satisfied I can comfortably coil, I've not done loads, but what I have done is consistently good and working great - the only reason I change my coils is cos I like doing them, I'd happily take the challenge of getting that sweet, it's a beautiful looking mod and the few reviews I found on RSM are really good - I'm happy to fork out on this one and report back, let Ian buy some other shiny to guinea pig lol :)
I've had an awful week, got took to hospital the other night and came home this lunchtime, I've got a mental illness and withdrawals off a med that me and my doctor both agreed I should stop and I did a quick taper. Unfortunately I got withdrawals in the form of psychosis, I also spent the last few days smoking stinkies when allowed outside :( Fine now though, longer taper, no psychosis and as normal as I'm ever gonna get :p. So, mothers picked the kids up now they're happy mama's alright so I can chill a bit over weekend, aka, perfectly recoil aga with microcoil and cotton, vape some Aunty Flo's pear drops from AC and probably order a Fogger from FT!
Also put the remaining stinkies in the lock tin and be grateful I'm not in a state of psychosis all the time!

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hey Claire - sorry to hear you havent been well, but glad to hear you are ok again now :) Meds are a real pain and can cause as many problems as the condition they are trying to prevent. I'm waiting for an operation on my back, but even then it's only 50/50 if it will get better. In the meantime i am on 3 different kinds of painkillers for it - one of them (tramadol) is opiate based but also has some SSRI type actions, so you can imagine how much fun that is when you run out or want a break from it after having it for years! The 2nd one i am on is specifically for nerve pain and acts on gaba receptors in the brain, which also brings on w/d symptoms if you stop. The 3rd is actually used as an anti-depressant at slightly higher doses, but as a painkiller at the smaller dose that i have, so although i am not diagnosed as bipolar i have very very similar effects due to the tablets i take! I'm having another big push to cut down / quit them all after christmas so we shall see.

One of my best friends also has some mental health problems. It started years back when she was voluntarily sectioned with a case of what the doctors thought was temporary psychosis - they said it was 99.9% never likely to come back, but it did and she has been sectioned twice more since then and given god knows how many tablets. She has now been diafnosed with schizophrenia and has a couple of drugs to control it, but then needs about 4 other types of drugs to counter the effects of the schizophrenia preventing ones!

I know we are constantly making progression in medical science and come up with better and better medicines, but i wish i was like my dad. He's coming up for 70 next year, never had to go to hospital for anything and only ever takes anything if he really really needs it (something i would need morphine for, he would have a paracetamol!)

Anyway, hopefully no more bad spells for you and lots more vaping :)

Yeah it`s great the trident mate, and i am pleased you are enjoying it :) I was watching a you tube video yesterday, and this fella had a great way of coiling his tanks.
Basically what you do is get a syringe or needle nosed dropper bottle, and when you are ready to fit your coil you stick a coil leg down the needle tip, then wrap the leg around the screw before tightening down. I hope that makes sense mate, it will help you with them sausage fingers.:p

Here you are cody i found it...Fogger V2 setup tutorial (sort of) - YouTube Around the 3 minute mark you will see what i mean.

Thanks for that terry. I'll take a look soon :)

I tried the mesh on one build, might have done it wrong, but flooded like crazy. Guess I don't have the patience for this one, I want to coil, fill, and Vape. I don't want to have to sweet talk it to work right, I'm not good at that. I got my SVD to put the Fogger on, now I need to figure what topper I am going to have to get to put on my SVD, as I do like it in 18350 mode, more like a really small vibrator, instead of the large 18650 vibrators.

Vape On
:vapor:

You and me both burnie! I dont have the patience for sweet talking either - i need to get straight to the business end of things! (probably why i am 40 next year and still single) :p

Thanks. We mustn't resist change - we have to embrace it imho.

That's a very good philosophy mate and one that i repeat over to myself when times get tough.

LOL! My Panasonic 18650's came while I was enjoying a little respite courtesy of the psych unit down here :p they are by far best batteries I've EVER used, well worth the extra couple of nuggets - this ones been in constant use since 8am and only dropped from 4.2v to 4.1v!
Been vaping a lot too as no stinkies at all today - I is very pleased with these batts and gonna order 4 more.
No FT packets for me either :(
Ah well, stalk tracking and hope something arrives Monday - probably best if it don't come til Tuesday, Mondays my cleaning and washing day and if my packets arrive I'll leave it so I can play, not ordinarily a problem but a) fellas mums visiting us Monday evening and b) I wanna put my tree and decorations up while blasting Christmas songs and singing along badly!

I have 2 brand new unprotected panasonic 3400mah 18650s sat on my shelf. I got them as replacements for the 2600mah samsung in my evic, but i have now had over 20,000 puffs on the evic and even if i used it exclusively for all my vaping it still lasts me at least a day and half until i need to recharge. I dont expect to ever have to buy another battery for it!

So Triphammer order just done too :

3 juices - Trip 20, Fizzy trifle and White gems.

I really want to see how the fizzy trifle compares to my GVC.

I'll be interested to hear what you think of the fizzy trifle compared to GVC and wonder if you will be able to identify the same taste on the custard flavour base.
