Quick update, both my orders arrived from chef today and are now steeping away nicely in my wardrobe. Ian i tipped the remainder of the cinnamon, cleaned the tank and filled it up with the sherbat lemon from steamgunk. Mmm Mmm Mmm what a lovely refreshing juice this is, I am vaping away on it now, That would be one of my suggestions for you to diy ian (lovely mate) Tastes just like the sweets.

I will have to keep an eye on the tank for cracking though. Also cleaned another kayfun, and filled it with ian`s blackcurrant and again Mmm Mmm Mmm, Georgeous mate, and goes really well with a nice cold glass of vimto, Well done again ian this is another one you have got spot on ten out of ten mate.

So i am having a really good vape day today thanks to my good friend. The packet was also sent to you today Ian, and you should have it shortly.

Ah! I did get some of those some time ago ......Gold Reserve Tobacco sweet & nice, Swiss Dark Chocolate hint Tobacco nice, Rainier Cherry very nice, Merango Strawberry lovely but gave me breathing difficulties, Vanda Vanilla lovely but again, breathing difficulties, Tundra Menthol unusual/odd, Tennessee cured I didn't like - smells awful. The ones I did like have good positive flavour.
But, seeing there were a few really nice ones, you've reminded me to try the others that I didn't get: Island, Solstice, Valencia & Wisconsin Frost
There's a couple more but they don't appeal to me.
It's not exactly cheap, nor particularly reasonable, but worth a try. The nicotine jumps from zero to 1.1, so if I really like any enough, I'll get zero and mix the two together!

Seeing the choices for 100% VG aren't large, it's worth seeing which is best.

Hmm well if a couple of them gave you issues trish even at 100% vg, maybe it isn`t the pg what gives you problems and indeed it could be some of the flavourings or colourants in the liquids. (just a thought)

It could be both Terry. First I noticed was at the beginning when still using pre-filled cartridges, the Vanilla ones made me breathless. Eliminated those and stuck mostly with the menthol, tobacco and coffee ones and was OK for a few weeks.
I then started getting different problems such as sore skin & mouth, eczema on my face, gastric upsets, and a bit of a tight chest. So I changed to VG: mostly tobacco flavours, menthol and coffee initially and had no breathing problems, and within two weeks the rash and gastric problems went and I was fine.
The only problems after that happened with some custard & fruit flavours: first peach, then strawberry & blackberry! Now it seems other fruits too - perhaps pineapple for one!
When I tried some liquids with strong custard flavours, that's when I also got some bad effects such as not being able to breathe, and one vanilla one made my throat so sore it bled a little.

So, what's emerging is that apart from strong custard, some fruit flavours also make me short of breath! This past week while trying one CV per day, Strawberry Vapetto made it so bad I had to take a tablet, then I've been OK with the Jamaican Ginger & Spottedick, but the Apple Pie gave a little trouble yesterday but not too much. Today I've been using Hawaiian Pud, and then used a little Twisted and Jungle Juice late afternoon onward ...got uncomfortably short of breath by around 6.30!
I've left them alone the past couple of hours and stuck with tobacco, Jamaican or menthol & it's getting better. I'll wait until later and try one of todays fruit ones again to see what happens.

Some of the Red Oak ones I ordered earlier before I realised so many fruits could be a problem are of course fruit ones, but when they arrive I'll give them a try and see if I can identify which ones are the culprits.

From now on I'll have to only try one new one per day to easier identify those to avoid!
Hopefully, I'll work out which fruits to avoid, and then, although I'm pretty sure PG causes me problems, I may try a few that I have with a small percentage of PG.

Well the way i read that trish it has got to be certain flavourings which upset you. When you mention the gastric problems, i know i used to have terrible retching fits in the morning after vaping certain liquids/mainly hangsen.

As soon as i stopped vaping that chinese crap i have been fine, though having said that i was vaping the trip hammer Trip Y4 last night and when i woke up this morning guess what ? Yep retching, the first time in a long time.

So to conclude, there has got to be some ingredient in certain liquids what cause problems, and like you say as long as you can identify them and stay clear, all should be good. At least you are ok with the SD&C i could vape that all day long and never complain.

At first I wasn't too sure, but it is growing on me - think I've been spoiled a bit recently with all these complex juices. So it's nice to have a simple flavour for a change. Must have missed the Bellweather mod, it's a good looking piece though

Depending on the type of flavouring used, I can do you a mix between 80 and 95% total VG content. Also I've got a few Evods and a couple of X9 Protank clones from FT that you're welcome to have - I don't use them anymore, so their just gathering dust. If you want them, you're welcome to them - I'd rather you get the enjoyment from them than throw them away.

Well the second order from FT for the batteries shipped today too

Plus we've just booked our flghts for the trip to Fuerteventura this summer. Been watching the prices for weeks now. Managed to get return flights for both me and the Wife for £500 including baggage allowance

We're going the end of July til the beginning of August. The flights out there are pretty cheap, but the return ones are in the school holidays. We've been waiting for the return flights to come down in price and today they did. At one point they were 3 times the price of the outgoing flights Now their just 30 quid more.

Yes, definitely some flavours, and hugely annoying is the fact that some are my favourites! The Strawberry Vapetto & LT Blackberry are so nice! ...and I love rich custard ones too! I suppose the best of them can perhaps be ones I'll use for very short spells now and then.

The worst GI problems I had were when I used PG during the first 6 weeks, but the day I used a bit of three new CV's a couple of weeks ago, I got a bad attack of not being able to breathe and an upset tum again plus other problems. That's what made me look at the labels, and because they were wrongly labelled, thought it had been PG that caused the problems as it had before, and didn't think too seriously about actual flavourings this time!
Yes, at least the Spottedick is OK! Who knows, I may be OK with the Fluffy Nuts and Banoffee Cookie ..haven't tried those yet. I may try those tomorrow if they seem ready to.
I do have a few other VG ones from Decadent Vapours to try that I've had a couple of weeks now.

I must say, it was all much less complicated, and far less expensive when I just used the little batteries and pre filled cartridges! I'd have happily stayed with those if I hadn't had the problem with PG. No UK supplier does VG cartridges, so when I tried the Jac 'VG' liquid with clearomisers, and found I still got problems, it turned out there was actually a fair amount of PG in that too! That was when I had to start all over again and find my way around batteries, clearomisers and liquid!

The worst part is, all this seeking out the right stuff and trying to work out what causes the problems has been very distracting ...got myself really behind schedule with work.
Because of that, I doubly appreciate any help I get in working out which liquids etc. I can use!

My Bellweather is waiting for one tip due 12/05 before it can be shipped.
Those Tips do really look nice unfortunately I prefer straight tips, but the A16, A39 and A53 caught my eye, he's holding the latter 2 for me until we can arrange payment for them through Paypal

Vapemail today New tank arrived from USA so i have stuck it on the ba gua, just for the sake of looks. Its got a carto in at the moment, but i think i will use it with the sophia when the time comes for me to put a new wick and coil in it.

EDIT: I just squoze the air out of my chefs juices and gave them a good shake, They are smelling bloody divine. Yesterday when they arrived they hardly smelt of anything, but now wow.

I think i will be buying ALL my liquids from chefs and LT from now on. Bloody marvellous.

Whenever i get some nice liquids from a newly found vendor i immediately get the urge to stock up with loads of it and only use that vendor in future, but then you hear about somewhere else and everything changes

My CV juices have been steeping about 6 days now so i am looking forward to getting stuck into them very soon. If i had to stick to one vendor only it would probably be vapology - they dont have an extensive list of the more specialised flavours, but their tailor made options and prices would probably swing it for me.
