Are your tablets called gabapentin or pregablin Ian?

If so, then i wouldnt worry about the side effects if you arent on a high dosage (when i say high i mean under 1200mg a day) ~Stick to something around that level or more than likely less, then you should be ok unless you are unlucky. I take them too and never had any problems with them, except one time when i took too many and felt pretty crappy for a few days after although at the time they gave me something like a drunk feeling. If your doc prescribes you tramadol say no! They will help with the pain and make you feel good too, but they are very addictive and hard to get off if you have them for long. Unfortunately, they are the only thing that works for my back pain so i need them.

Anyway, the main thing is you sorted my KFL out :p

Correct Cody, they are Pregabalin. To be honest I had one after dinner today and I'll be having another before bed, their only 75mg. I just feel like I've had a couple of lagers. Maybe it's because I've just started on them, or it could be the fact that I read about all the possible side effects and I've convinced myself I feel a bit tipsy  I've got these 4 days off work anyway to get used to them and as long as I get a decent sleep, I don't mind at all. I told the Doctor I don't like taking pills unless I really have to, so he started me off on a lowish dose to begin within. My Wife is Epilipetic and I know how it screws her up if she takes too many by accident - but she is on the highest dose possible for her size. Thanks for the reassurance anyway mate :)

I've just redone the Russian and the kayfun, they lasted 2 minutes and taste burnt again. So I've come to the conclusion that my coiling skills are still excellent, but the cotton pad I used was a crap one

Grants Vanilla custard must be good! I'll watch out for them getting it again and try a small bottle to satisfy my curiosity ...I do like custard! :)

I got my second Chefs Vapour order of those placed last week - a few repeats, but a few new ones too: Blue Bandit, Blueberry C Bomb, Red Hot Pear and Mint Chocolate Vapetto.
I just had to try the Vapetto one right away - the strawberry version is lovely but it seems I've got some allergy problems with strawberry, so I was keen to try the Mint Chocolate one to see ...not disappointed either! It's a lovely cool Belgian chocolate taste with that nice crispy waffle cone flavour! Not at all sickly or over sweet. No doubt it will get even better with a little time too, and so far, I have no negative effects from it.

I'm hoping I find blueberry ones OK too - never tried that before, nor a pear one.

I had a newsletter from LibertyFlights - there's a link to a blog and at the bottom of that page there's a discount code for 20%: EFVI20% ...they said limited numbers and to use it soon. The Euro Vape Race and the Heroes of the EFVI campaign (Part Two) | Liberty Flights E-liquid Blog

Well my coiling session is over.

Recoiled the Reo, the 2 Russians, 3 Kayfuns and had another go at the Aios. Success rate 50/50 :(

Reo is working great, but one of the Russians I think I put too much cotton in it, same with one of the Kayfuns. Plus the bloody Aios is now in the vape back up box. Vaped great for the first 5 minutes, then started leaking again, I will get it working right eventually but it can wait a while.

:offtopic: Think I know why my coil building wasn't as good as it should have been. Went to the Doctors this morning, cos I sometimes suffer from a trapped femoral nerve in my leg. It flares up occasionally, generally at night and can wake me up sometimes. Feels like my thigh is on fire, but then eases pretty quickly when I stretch my leg out. It can be annoying, it's like being a new Dad and being woken up every 2 hours during the night :( Anyway the last couple of months, it's been flaring up at least 3 or 4 times a week - no wonder I've been knackered recently. I normally just took Ibuprofen to ease it. But the Doctor has given me some tablets that are generally used for Epilepsy, as they can help with nerve pain. The only problem is the massive list of side effects, I think I've got one of them. At first you can feel a bit light headed when you first start taking them - so that's the reason why my coils are crap today  So blood tests on Monday, plus I'm being referred to a specialist for an MRI, plus physio. I just want a full 8 hours sleep

It's a good job I did your kayfun last week Cody

Terry, I opened up the base on both Russians. I found there was a bit of crud on both the 510 centre pins, cleaning that out does improve the airflow mate. The 510 pins are drilled, so any muck in them will give a tighter draw. All you need is a flat head screwdriver and a pair of needle nose pliers to hold the positive post straight when you screw it back together.

------------------------

The parcel arrived today Terry too

:rickroll::rickroll:

Thanks very much mate, I really appreciate it. I've got a lifetime supply of SS rope now  I'll be dripping the juices later tonight, so I'll let you know what I think  Thanks also for the tank mate, looks easy enough to build on :D

Okay thanks Ian, was the crap down the cetre of the 510 pin or around It ?? You are welcome mate, Hope you enjoy them juices more than i did. :D

And as you say the i atty is straight forward enough mate, enjoy. It really is a fog maker, just that it couldn`t keep up with my speed vaping.

I myself have never tried any of the custard vapes trish, maybe one day. Also great news on the vapetto too, it does look like it is the strawberry which is the culprit. I tried the blueberry c bomb myself and although it is a nice blueberry taste, i never really got any citrus flavours coming through.

I agree completely, my grandparents and parents did indeed bemoan the falling standards of younger people ...but the things they were complaining about were very tame in comparison. Mostly attire and music!

A very good tuppence worth too! We've also encountered or heard of similar instances.
Still it's not always so: our eldest son was walking to a colleagues house one early summer evening (off duty) and was attacked from behind by one of a gang. Although his shoulder was painful and he was very shaken by it, once free of them, he phoned his colleague living nearby and they managed to arrest that lunatic. Turned out he'd just decided to jump on the first person to come along. that's quite a frightening thought.

I've encountered larger groups of male youngsters and felt intimidated only to have them all stop and start admiring the dog! :)
Our younger son had a group of friends after he left school, and every one of them were polite and decent young people. They're all married and have families now, but are still the best of friends, and all still welcome at our home. I can't say the same for a group of 'friends' he had whilst still at school though!

All depends on how they're brought up I'm sure. Our parents had Victorian parents, and grew up with fairly strict disciplines, some of which were passed on in their bringing up of me (and my husband too). As such, watered down though those principles may be with each new generation, the basics still survive: respect and values, not only for others, but oneself too.
Somewhere along the line, a lot of that got lost for some people, and sadly, we do have an element of less than pleasant people everywhere we go.

You never really know what to expect with gangs of younger people. I find the chav type ones (baseball caps and tracksuit bottoms tucked into their socks with their hands down the front of their pants) to be pretty rude and the emo/goth types to be polite and not bother anyone, but as you say a lot depends on how they were brought up.

If the pregablin make you feel a bit woozy ask your dr to swap you over to gabapentin as they are much weaker. I'm sure at that level you will be fine though and your body very quickly builds up a tolerance to them so if you have 2 a day within a week you will hardly notice any effect from them.

In other news, thankyou to trish and terry for recommending the spotted .... and custard, its lovely :) I get the custard flavour coming through which is more like the GVC kind of taste than the CLS, then i get a hint of currants, but best of all is a nice rich cake-sponge like flavour. I'll definitely be wanting more of this. I got it 65/35 PG/VG so it lasted a bit longer in my carto tank but when i reorder i think i will go for 50/50 as the PG throat hit is a bit peppery for me now that i have been used to higher VG juices recently.

Way hey cody, really chuffed you like the SD&C mate. It really is something special cody, so much so i ran out of it last week just so i could try some of the T/H crap.

I learned a valuable lesson there, never to run out of it again. I have got another 30 ml steeping away now, and it is smelling bloody good mate. All i vape now are 50/50 cody as it seems to be a perfect balance for me. I read that you like the blackcurrant and licorice, have you tried any from L/T, as they do it.

Well the 510 pin, is hollow down the middle and has two airholes drilled in the sides, I cleaned out the airholes with a pin (where most of the gunk was and then blew through the hollow centre.

I'll be dripping the new juices soon :D

I find the same thing Cody, the Goth types always seem to be polite - even though they look like vampires  There's one that gets on my bus that has red contact lenses and teeth filed like fangs, but he's as polite as can be. The chavs with baseball caps and hoodies seem to think they've got to prove how tough they are all the time, especially in front of their mates. But as you say, a lot of the time it's upbringing that counts, in some cases they've been dragged up instead of brought up :D

I've been talking with the Wife about the pills, she said the same thing as you, so thanks for that :D I'll see what happens over the next few days, things should settle down with a bit of luck.

I havent tried the LT version. I've had probably half a dozen blackurrant and licorice juices, but vapology is ideal for me as i can play around with the ratios and have now found the perfect blend. I've had about 15ml of it in the KFL over the last few days and its been gorgeous. Now i've got the SD&C on the go aswell i'm afraid the zamplebox flavours are going to have to sit on the shelf a while.

To be honest, as good as zamplebox may be, if i dont get more dessert type juices in the next box i think i will cancel my subscription, just too much fruit for my liking, but i shall see in a week or two when the next box arrives. Of the 6 bottles i got, there was only one that i really wanted more of. The others are nice enough, but have started to feel like a bit of a chore to get through them if you know what i mean. The sign of a really good juice is when your tank finally runs dry and you cant wait to get some more!

Well i am glad in a way that i didn`t bother with zamplebox. I tend to stick with what i know and like now mate, no more faffing about trying different vendors all the time. I find the SD&C is one of them i can`t be without.

And yeah i know what you mean about the fruit ones too, i have got 4 mods at the side of me which all have a different fruity vape in them. And just the one with some vapology cappucinno.

Gotta say that I'm a big fan of Chefs Vapour on Terry's recommendations. The RY-..... has become my favourite flavour and I have the SD&C on order.

I've had a couple of custard ones and they were very nice too, but some vanilla's can give me a problem ...that was the very first thing that did give me trouble! Seems the custard type flavours in CV's don't bother me though!

Hmm ...well, if the blueberry flavour is good enough and doesn't give me problems, I can always add a bit of the LT lemon or lime to it!
Reminds me - still haven't found a true orange flavour yet!
I'd already re-ordered some Strawberry Vapetto by the time I realised I had a problem with strawberry, so I'll have to use it with caution just now and then :)
Pity they don't do even more of those vapetto ones -they're rather nice! I've been using the Choc Mint one ever since it arrived!

Yes, the way they dress and posture can be a very good indication of troublemakers.
One thing that did annoy me last year was when walking along a footpath, three tall young lads (must have been 15 or16) just coming out of school were walking side by side, and I was approaching them with the dog - I actually had to walk out onto the road to go around them! I perhaps should have phoned the school to complain about their bad manners, but I didn't.

In other news, thankyou to trish and terry for recommending the spotted .... and custard, its lovely :) I get the custard flavour coming through which is more like the GVC kind of taste than the CLS, then i get a hint of currants, but best of all is a nice rich cake-sponge like flavour. Great! So glad to hear that - it's terrific!
The Apple Pie one has a rather nice spicy dried apple slices taste plus the creamy custard, but it didn't seem so nice the next day and then gave me breathing problems, so I haven't tried it since! :(

I'm wondering if their ABC custard one would be good to try ...perhaps I really should! ;)

Hopefully, we will get more of what we like in the next box. Just seems a bit odd that i gave dessert as my favourite flavour then didnt get any in my first box, but i am hoping it's just that one. The trouble is that looking at what others have got recently it seems to be more fruit. I was reading another thread on zamplebox somewhere on ecf from a while back and a lot of people were complaining about getting too many menthol juices, then they addressed it but now looks like a fruit overload. I like that you can cancel any time and rejoin though, that along with the flavour profiling is what made me join initially. Fingers crossed for the next box!

Great! So glad to hear that - it's terrific!

GVC might suit you as you can get it almost 100% VG and it tastes less of vanilla than any of the others i have tried if that helps! I've got 10ml of the ABC sat waiting for a spot in the next available tank so i'll let you know what it's like :)

GVC: I'll look out for them making some more and try a small bottle seeing they do a VG!
The Red Hot Pear is cinnamon, but doesn't smell overpowering though. Never can tell - may try it tomorrow to see how it is. It'll be interesting for me to see how I am with the pear!
If it's based on a baked spicy pear, it should be quite nice.

.....in some cases they've been dragged up instead of brought up :D.
Another bad sign can be if they have a Staffordshire or a Rottweiler ..they tend to think of them as tough status symbols (poor dogs!)

And just the one with some vapology cappuccino.
I have some of that! It's 70% VG but I must try it again.
