tried ordering 18350s off torchy he is out of stock
everywhere else I have tried wont send them due to post office restrictions
will just have to make do with my 18650s for now
I have no intentions of picking on my mate terry
i will leave that to ian he is quite capeable on his own
but blooming hell the vamos are massive in 18650 mode

Size matters Ron, that's why I keep my Vamo in 18650 mode

Hi, everyone, back from my jaunt to the Baltics, weather was YUCH..ended up having to buy a hooded fleece to keep me warm, Hotel was excellent, food was a bit bland, too much pork as per usual with ex Eastern Bloc countries, okay though if you like rabbit food, didn't take many photos but will try and get them uploaded to tinypic in the next few days

I'm assuming the PO restrictions are for batteries coming in by Air, hope my 18350s make it through from AW, they are coming by sea, and will be at least another 6 weeks before they arrive.

Noticed that about the Vamo, I have the v3 and v5 - on the v3 the middle section comes apart (2 x 18350 tubes), but I can only get the bottom tube off on my v5.
Just had a quick look to see what's new on FT and I notice they have a 4nine and a brass/gold Astro now, which might go in my next basket, anything else I missed whilst away

I've ordered the brass/gold Astro myself, it's currently on it's way over. I've got the mixed Astro already, but I'm in a mix and match phase at the moment - been swapping tubes around with the Nemmys to get something unique, so I want to do the same with the Astro too. Superb switch on the Astro, really nice action.

I'd say get another one and have one of each (brushed and polished) - that way you can match them up to your attys

It would be a shame though if you can't run 2x 18650's.

I'm interested to see how you get on with this build though. I plan to do one myself at some point.

Thanks Ian, Hotel was a Radisson Blu, they had a great Skyline Bar and the local beer and firewater weren't too bad, had a good first evening in the Guildhall, with a show put on by some folk dancers & singers followed by a dinner, and one of our group drank too much firewater, ended up getting locked in the toilet after we had all left, luckily a cleaner found him and got him a taxi back to the hotel, a few of us went to a local bar and one of the German group's lassies got plastered and ended up falling over and breaking her arm (she went the whole of the 2nd day without realising it was broken).

I've got the SS Astro and agree about the switch, now that I'm back will have to start putting the magnets in my Nemmys and try and get my coil building up to scratch. only waiting on 2 things from FT at the moment, a Hana and a Vamo control unit for my KSD, and am also waiting for a Micro Stick I ordered and the Touchwood that I'm in the waiting list for.

yes it goes very very dark with age I have seen some that was 6 months old and looked like liquid shoe polish tasted great though

I got 50ml .6mg VG just after 10am, and just went back and got 50ml of the same in 0mg and 50ml in 12mg. That way it'll last me a good while and I can dilute the 12mg with the zero to suit.
I may even get some more 0mg next time if I can.

Vape mail came today, Not just my order from chefs, But Ians as well. Thankyou very much Ian, I wasn`t expecting the rocket at all. You do realise i will have to get another mod now don`t you Just hope it doesn`t leak for me like it did for you mate. Anyway i will wait till after my jollies before i give it a go, and get myself the gp paps from FT.

Now onto the switch magnets, I opened up the bottom cap, took the spring out and that little pin shot across the room. Luckily enough i was doing it in the kitchen where we have a wooden floor, so i heard the area where it landed. Could i find the bloody thing though, so i got my torch out, and found it under the freezer door.

Panic over, i got the magnets installed, and what a difference they make. The throw is as smooth as butter now, Fantastic, thanks again mate. Ian, let me know if the magnets work in any more of your mods which i have in my siggy as i might get some more if they do.

I forgot to mention ron, the only downside if you can call it that is that as the throw is that soft now the nemmy self fires when i set it down. My atom used to do that till i stretched the spring

EDIT: I couldn`t wait till tomoroow knowing it`s only a 2 minute fix, so done it. I wasn`t sure whether to have the 2 magnets top or bottom, so i did bottom first, that didn`t work, so i put 2 on top. running fine now with no self firing, cheers for the heads up ron.

I know a lady that broke her finger and didn't realise until 3 days later when she realised her finger was still sore and decided to get it checked out at A&E. That's the sort of thing I would do though (getting locked in the loo), a few years back - not any more though, I'm well behaved now

The Nemmy is a lot better with the magnets, well worth doing Bob.

As Ron says it gets darker all the time. I've got some that's over 6 months old (not much left of it though), it's like a good wine - gets better with age.

You're welcome mate. I don't know if you remember, I actually got 3 of the rockets and I've only had a try with one of them. So that one is untouched by human hands You seemed to have more luck with yours before, so I thought you could use it as a back up if nothing else - but it's a good excuse to get another mod

I can picture you chasing the pin across the kitchen floor It is a bit fiddly to do, but it's worth the fiddle

Yeah you have probably missed my edited post above Ian. I have got 3 in now, and it is like it`s on ...... now But not too bad at all,A bit stiffer but still nice and smooth just how i like it. (sounds rude) these posts. Hope Trish is reading.

Yeah, you right Terry, I did miss the edit. I prefer the softer switch, so I'm good with just 2 magnets. I know the magnets won't fit in the Vela, Chi or the Bagua that I've got (but your Bagua is a different manufacturer than mine, so who knows). I've got some more magnets coming in this last order, so if there's any spare do you want me to send them your way ??

There's also a site that does magnets for specific clone mods, their a bit dearer than FT though :
