Ok so today's update from yesterday, if that makes sense

Got order no 10 yesterday before I went to work, no 9 hasn't arrived yet.

So now I've got my Private V2- time to change my sig again, some more funky drip tips, a decent mod case and some coils. Quite impressed with the coils they have no res wire legs, which I was hoping they had. Bought them to use in my ithaka, so they'll work great. I've got 15 of them, so should last me a while

My FT wishlist is still growing and I've got loads of items to review now, so I'll get my rebate points total up in no time

Let us know your opinions on the private mate,

All done, two new wicks 3 mm doubled into a loop, Dry burn firing like a tornado jet. Primed, sleeve on just using the smallest airhole.

Let it sit for 5 mins, 10 drops of berry mix, took a pull and was blown away. I really must put it away now till i get my low nic liquids, as i am getting nic`d out seriously. It is still a bit harsh, but that is with 18 mg. way too high.

I just got my Private V2 and using the Trident clone also set on the dual holes. I'm also blown away by the performance and getting nic'd out also dripping 24mg, had to lay down for a bit. Dual coil 2/3 wrap 30g Kanthol @ .4ohms. I'm now able to use my Panasonic CGR18650CH button tops. I also have a brass Origin mod by Footoon and feel the performance is the same.

You must have iron lungs vaping 24 mg on the trident LOL. Are you using ribbon wire or plain for your coils ? I am using .5 ribbon, 4 wrap duals gives me .5 ohm

Impressed with it mate, the brass contacts really do make a difference. Almost as good as my Paps to be honest, now that is high praise For the price it really is a must have. I got the cheaper one of the three, but to be honest, I don't mind the aluminium tube, nice and light weight.

3 x X9 Protanks, being cleaned as we speak, look as good as the original though.
6 x Panny 18650 protected batteries, for a bit of mod safety, currently charging now.

So, all I'm waiting for now is the tri-colour k100 from FT.

Big news though, I've just ordered a high end atty for the Paps Lux. I was after either the Russian 91% or the Kayfun Lite. The Russian is out of stock til next month, but managed to order a Kayfun from cloud9vaping today. Should be her tomorrow (special delivery). Proper excited now

Didn't order a Trident mate. I have it in the wishlist though.

I'm glad I got the lower nic juices last week for the drippers, you were right about the nic hit, blows you away

My Kayfun has been shipped now, so fingers crossed for delivery tomorrow

Quick update on the trident,

Had my tea, and thought hmm lets drip some grape. I put 6 drops in and it was fantastic, the harshness has completely gone. so when i had finished my little session, i opened it up to have a look.

Only one of the coils firing, one must have popped somewhere down the line. so to sum up, i am going to run it single IMO it performs better.

No more lung and throat burn at all, really pleased with it now. After all i only have my V5 running with one coil, and i get serious clouds with both now. Yep just confirmed my suspicions, resistance has now jumped from .5 to 1 ohm.

So that settles that, I will build a single mega 9 mm wicked coil tomorrow

Must admit, it is surprising the difference between single and double coils, I've noticed that myself with my drippers too mate. Maybe try a cotton coil next time see what happens.
Tried dripping the yucky blackberry again today, it is getting better, about time too. Should be perfect come Christmas time

Forgot to mention, been playing with the ithaka again today. Picked up a tip on another thread, about swapping the cup around in the ceramic section. Put it all back together with a single wick (one of the new ones I got from FT). Filled up with a thinner juice this time, some Red Bull with a higher PG content. Stuck it on the new Private mod, so far so good. No gurgling or leaking, quite a good vape too. Must admit it looks really good on the Private V2, looks like they were made for each other. If there's still no leaks tomorrow I'll be a happy vaper

Seriously though, that looks like a decent looking coil you've got going there, 1.3 ohms is probably a bit low for me though.

Well considering i have been running it at 0.5 mate, there should be a big difference.

I will report back later, once i have plucked up the courage to use it.

Today's update :

Ithaka is now cured. No leaks, great vapour and taste, very happy.

Got my kayfun lite today too, it's one sexy looking beast

Did a quick 6 wrap coil with cotton. But in my haste to set it up, I used the wrong wire (some old high resistance stuff, that I should have binned ages ago). Came out at 4.8 ohms on the Vamo Tried it anyway, no hot spots and plenty of popping and vapour when I wet the coils.

Used it on the Paps Lux, hardly any vapour at all. So I'm having to use it on the Vamo at the moment. But God what a vape at 9 watts. Loads of vapour, flavour and throat hit - I'm a happy bunny

I am on it right now. Umptious clouds of fruitiness with the watermelon. It is no where near the harshness of the sub ohm coils i was using.

I am really enjoying this right now ian, So much so, that i don`t think i will go the sub route again. But at least i tried.

Dun dun duuuunnnnn..... I received my v3, igo l, and citrus liquid. Kit did come with the panny bats that fasttech swore sent Sony. Haven't got to play much need to let the bats charge......
