Just had a big catch up read of the thread. Hadn't been on in a couple of days. Went to the fringe in Edinburgh today for the first time. Along other things, saw a guy using an rda outside a pub. Was tempted to just go and start chatting to him about it but didn't.

Terry, what guage wire did you build that with? 28? I reckon you get a smoother vape with thicker wire when you're sub ohm. Also do you lung inhale or mouth to lung?

I'll have to put up a picture tomorrow of my dual coil build in my trident (clone) tomorrow! Also might give my diy juices a go on a dripper to see if any are vapeable yet.

Hi adam, i use 30 gauge for all my builds as i think it is the best wire to work with. I just moved the coils down a touch ( towards the deck ) and that has mellowed it nicely. I vape mouth to lung, though i have tried the direct lung hits in the past.:D

Let us know what your diy juices are like mate, what flavours have you made ??

Yeah I mostly mouth to lung with an occasional lung hit mostly just to see how much vapour I can produce.

I've mixed up some LT fresh sex, LT heritage (raspberry), inawera RY4, inawera amaretto and inawera grapefruit (was the only grapefruit I could see on LT so assumed it was the one people were talking about on that LT thread).

Also have some LT Lime, LT Cappucino and inawera ethyl maltol to use when I get more bottles (I won't be making a straight ethyl maltol mix though).

I e-mailed them to ask if they had any recommended steeping times and Flemming said that all their flavours were ok to vape straight away but would obviously develop over time, so not sure how long they will take. I was really looking for an answer like '2 weeks is best' or something but oh well I'll just test them now and again.

Here's my dual coil trident (clone) setup. Took the wicks out and cleaned up the coils. It's made with 25 guage and is about 0.5 ohms.

He told me the same, and it's true, some can be used straight away, but some need anything from a matter of days to a week or two - depends on the flavouring. I'd say try a little right away, and if it needs to sit, try it again in 5-7 days, and if not right, then again at 10-14 days.
Some custard type flavours can go on improving for months!

I see three tester sizes available this week, including a Plum Fresh. He once made me a plum one but it didn't taste of much - perhaps I should dig it out and see if it improved!

By the way, I see LT have the Nautilus mini for £18

Certainly some interesting flavours there mate, let us know how they are ? I know LT used to make a grapefruit one cos i tried it once, and very nice it was too.:D

What version is your trident adam ? the post screws are different to mine V1. Are the posts still slotted rather than holes ?

Well i have been a busy bee today, i replaced the dual coils with a single in my trident @ 1.4 ohms. Dripped some coffee from MBV, and it is another winner for sure and the best coffee vape i have ever had.

Proper room smogger this is.

I also cleaned a kayfun and filled with S/G LMP, bloody heck what a lovely flavousome vape that is:D I will definitely be getting more of that.

Tried the 3 fruity ones this morning (I've read that the ry4 and amaretto take upto 2 weeks). Heritage (raspberry) is weak, not sure if it just needs longer or more flavour, I'll leave it for a while and see again before adding. Fresh sex (which smells great by the way) is a strong menthol blast with a hint of fruit so I think it needs longer. Grapefruit tastes alright but maybe a slight strange aftertaste. All in all more time is needed.

I got the trident from myepack (Trident Clone SS - RBA/RDA) so not sure what version it is or anything, but it doesn't look quite like anything on FT. Not sure what you mean by slotted posts, they just screw in and there's a hole in each for putting wire through. It works fine although I was a bit surprised to find it doesn't fit flush with the edge of my nemesis (as in my picture). Doesn't matter though the only thing that slightly irks me is that the o-rings on the deck could be slightly beefier, the mid section comes off quite easily if the o-rings get juice on. Doesn't routinely bother me though.

Is that you behind the smog Terry?
What sort of a coffee is that one ..creamy, caramel...?

I must try that LMP again ...doesn't seem to smell of much to me though. :)

On mine from fasttech the o-rings are exactly the opposite adam, and really tight. Can you replace them with some thicker ones ? The slotted posts, have slots instead of holes, and the post screws are more like caps which tighten down over the slots. Just makes it a tad easier to work with.:)

Yes tis me trish in hiding  I found that the LMP tastes a lot better than it actually smells in the bottle:) The coffee is just plain coffee, and tastes like a rich roast, with no bitterness at all, very nice.:D

Very dramatic!
I'll have to try that LMP ...I got it out last week, sniffed it and got something else instead
I have Espresso Dream from Strix to try - I think Bob said it's quite a strong one. I'll wait until I'm not far off using a new coil for my mPT2 and try it in that - last time I tried coffee in a Unitank, it took ages to get rid of the coffee smell/taste ...and it wasn't a nice one!

Apparently, Nicoticket is doing a SR of Raz Cup starting Tuesday afternoon (Raspberry) - not sure if this will be another that has no max VG ..will have to see! :)
I'd love a good raspberry cream one that tastes like real raspberries!

I will have a look at MBV for a raspberry and cream later trish, they may do it. And yes thats the problem with coffee vapes, most of them are very strong. Earlier when i was dripping this new one i was whistling that taylors ad, and thought of you.

That's not nice! :( If I got my hands on that twittering mechanical bird I'd drown it in a bucket of sump oil! ;)

Not in a totally happy mood today - after almost a year of being fairly OK with care, I've got the BPPV vertigo back again! (It came 3-4 years ago and has been a darn nuisance!)

Apart from the berry creamy one which i have trish, and is very tasty indeed, they do this one.:)
Get Razzled E Juice Baker Vapor - Mt Baker Vapor - Electronic Cigarettes
They both seem to have decent reviews! You got two shots of flavour added?
Once I sift through trying the handful of new ones I've got, I may just get a few from there! :)

Well thats not good trish, i had an aunt who suffered with that, kept going dizzy and falling down  I think they got it sorted with meds though, I hope you get on top of it soon.:)

It's not the sort that can be fixed with drugs ...something that can shift slightly in the middle ear, and it's just a case of it shifting back at some point! Could go either way though and make it worse - I'd already had it a year when that happened two years ago while washing my hair, and I haven't been able to wash it myself since. The only surgical option is hit and miss too and can leave patients deaf quite easily.
When it's bad, it's difficult to move my head much. Getting up after being asleep all night is a bad time, as is laying down. Bend down and it's like the floor is coming up to hit me! Makes me feel sick as well as dizzy.
I know there's worse things happen, but it is pretty awful.

OK :) I noticed a few people in the reviews saying they got two. If one is enough, then all the better for me as there's PG in the flavouring.

I noticed recently that my 2 month old Spinner ll 1600 battery wasn't holding it's charge as long, and today the green light came on after only an hour on charge.
I did a search and apparently it is a know problem that even Vision are aware of. It's necessary to unplug it turn the voltage all the way up, plug it back in and it'll complete it's charge properly. Seems Vision produced a new USB charger, but I'm fine with the one I have I think now that I know what the problem is and how to deal with it.
Next time I'll look for a different battery! I did see where people found the FastTech Spinner ll 'type' battery works better!

Reo twins, I'm a very happy Father :

Just hope that worked ok, soon find out

Upgraded my Reo (the one with the smaller RM2 atty). It now has uprated battery spring, button, positive contacts and an aluminium button cover.
The new Reo (with the larger Stillare atty) already has all the upgraded parts fitted. I had to modify the Stillare atty to make it a bottom feeder. Took it all apart, cut a channel in the positive post and notched out all the O-rings and seals that hold the positive post in place. Fitted a dual coil with 28g kanthal, comes out at 0.8 ohms. I had to use the stainless deck from my other Stillare atty, cos I noticed that when I was using the brass one as a basic dripper, it had turned green on the inside

Had a couple of tiny leaks, so still a bit of fine tuning needed with O-rings under the atty. But overall, I'm really pleased with my DIY modded atty :D Flavour and vapour as good as any dripper, but with an on-board juice supply :toast:

Wondered what the hell you two were on about, but googled it, and have to agree with you Trish, thank the lord we don't see it down here.
Ha-ha! Indeed! a stupid and irritating ad, and has absolutely nothing to do with coffee!
I'm pretty sure some advertising visuals geek put that together, and they then had the sales team find a company willing to use it for their product.

They look far better than they do on their own website! Very nice.
They should send you one of each colour to photograph for their website! ;) ...payment in Reo's!

I wouldn't say no Trisha

First time I've used my camera to upload images, so wasn't sure it would work or not. Better pics than the ones off my phone, that's the main thing.
