Bob, The question you should be asking yourself is...can i live with myself if i don`t tell them.

Hmmmm, think I could, they're a big company and I'm a pensioner

I tried the carto when I first got a Vmod and to be honest we didn't get along very well. I only use the AMG attys now. Had too much leaking with the carto, I like to over-squonk the Vmod and the carto didn't like it

I'm quite conservative on my squonking, every 6 or 7 puffs, I tip it, tip it back and squonk once, no problems with flooding the carto, although I have flooded a few 510 attys when testing juices.

Plenty of room under the bed for another body then Terry ??

Not into dust bunnies  I'll stay where I am

Yes you can Bob. In fact some of the pre-made wicks that FT sell are NR/R/NR. But to be honest, unless you need long legs on the coil, it's pointless - just use normal Kanthal.

Thanks, that's why I asked, I bought some of their premade welded wires, to make life a bit easier, no problem chopping off the excess, they arrived today, along with some ceramic drip tips and a black Tobh

I got a Jwrap for my Vmod mini. A custom design of the "One Ring" from the Lord of the Rings. Does make the Vmod easier to handle. Plus the standard coating on the Vmod shell cover doesn't last very long - so it's a good idea to get a wrap.

Don't really like J-Wraps, knowing me, I'd end up getting it all messed up putting it on, have problems putting the screen protectors on phones.

One word, begins with "D" and ends in "ickhead" :(

Definitely, the problem is there are idiots out there that will try and copy what he does, and could end up dead.

I'd tell them Bob, I'm honest like that :p

Aren't we all :nah: Think I'll wait and see what they say.

Had a slight problem with the KFL, the wire keeps coming loose off one of the terminals, seems like the screw head is so small it doesn't hold the wire, anyone else had that problem, if so how did you fix it.

Can`t argue with that bob. :)

I had a similar problem with the last kayfun i got from them. I really struggled to loosen one of the terminal screws, and when i eventually did, the threads in the block were stripped. Thank the lord for ptfe tape.

EDIT sorry bob, if the screw head is small, but you can still tighten it down try wrapping the wire completely around the screw before tightening, rather than just trapping the wire.:)

Mine is from AngelFireMods not FT, thanks, will try wrapping it round completely, have ordered some 3mm m2 screws, just in case I lose one

Ooooh! hope it goes away quickly
Thanks Bob - can do very little until it settles down. Makes me violently ill if I move too much.

now have a dilemma because remember that order which got sent back to China because according to FT customs had refused it entry and which FT refunded all but $11.44 shipping costs, well it also just arrived, should I be honest and tell them, anyone got a daisy...
That's between you and your conscience! ;)

Thats okay Trisha, you just get well soon !!! :(

Hope you feel better soon.

Thanks Terry & Adam :)

Go on Trisha, I dare you to do the calculation, you might be pleasantly surprised ;) For the first couple of years I had an Accountant do my tax returns and charge me £1200 per year for the privilege. Soon learned how to do that job myself  The VAT used to take longer to do than the tax return - at least 5 hours per week. That's one thing I don't miss anymore, having to fill in the Simplex D book every week.
I don't have to think much this year ...the answer is very little!
Even at the best of times, I don't get a lot per hour ...and I'm supposedly in the top half dozen in the UK for my genre of work.

Hope you're feeling better soon Trisha :)
Thanks Ian

Why hasn't the video been removed in the interests of public safety?

Had a really rough night - only slept from 5.30-8am. Able to walk today but can't look at the keyboard too much without feeling very ill ...work out of the question.

Was wondering if lack of sleep and staying up late and overdoing things was part of the cause.

I did put in a complaint about this guys stupid videos on the premise that they could endanger people, and tried to encourage others to do the same.

Bob, when I come to sort out my vape stuff, I'll see if I've got any of the cartos left. If you want them, I can send them on :) I only use the AMG attys, so if you want them (and I can find them) I'll put your name on them mate.

----------------------------------------------

Trisha, you must be good at what you do if you're ranked that high :thumb: Any links for any work that you've done ?? I've been telling the Wife about your painting and she's interested to have a look. I think I told you about her painting that she does sometimes, but it's more of a hobby for her.

-------------------------------------------

Terry, you're a star mate. My "Spunkberry" juices arrived today  Not had chance to try them yet. I'm working every day this week, until the Bank holiday, so I'll be able to have a good drip with them on Monday. They do smell lovely though, so thanks for posting them on :D

--------------------------------------------

No real updates for me today, just been banging in the overtime all this week. Only problem is my stack of batteries that need charging up is growing  My FT order has now been received by Singpost.

Take your time trish love, we will still be here when you are feeling better. :)
Nice to know ..thanks Terry :)

I've been working late for a lot of years now. I can definitely blame times of less sleep on some ailments, but can't make much connection with this.

I think they are to busy rooting out all the bleeding terrorist videos at the minute bob, there was an article about it on the news earlier.
That makes a lot of sense. I still think some parts of the internet need better vigilance over what is posted, and making rapid removal of unsuitable/dangerous material.

Art had been my no1 subject right through school and art college was good too but I had a poor teacher and left. Got an office job.
I started out playing around with paint again on Christmas Day '84 ...sort of grew and blossomed, and I played around with paint whenever I had some time off. Then, in late '89 my husband suggested I paint for a living ...I thought he was mad - after all, what did he know about painting! We went to the art shop, I started painting and by Spring 1990 I had a licensing agent for cards/prints etc., and was showing work with an art society!
My first city gallery was great, but sadly she closed the gallery 4 years later (personal reasons). Had she still be handling my work, I'd be selling my work in other countries far more than at present, and she'd have likely got the prices at a better level.
I didn't want the extreme pressure of trying to get with the bigger UK and US galleries - too much to think about with shipping and all the paperwork for a start with the US. Did show in New York once though.
Some of the top galleries have gone totally with the more 'off the wall' type of thing now though - not my kind of work at all.
I'll send you a PM with a link.

I was asleep most of the afternoon thankfully, and feel a lot better for keeping still properly. Actually had something to eat too, so that made a difference.
Not 100% by a fair way, but in a better place than I was last night, or even this morning!

Anyway - starting to feel a bit dizzy looking at the keyboard too long ..off for a cup of tea :)

So you took the easy option and sent the Wife

I've just thinned out my juices a little, there's some that I will just not vape again, so rather than hang on to them, I binned them.

Too right i did mate :D I did the same with my juices a few months ago, gave all my backy types to ronnie, and threw a couple of nasty ones. Thankfully i am finding juices i really like now, so no more wasting money :(

I reckon you will really like the ones i have sent you, the only exception might be the pineapple one, i just found it too acidic.

Same here mate. Some of the juices I was holding onto them just in case, but it's pointless they were just taking up space.

I'll let you know how much I like the MBV ones, so thanks again for sending them on :)

I'll have to go now, been a long day today at work. So see you all later.

You are a gent, sir

I did some of that recently, mainly the Vapable ones, think I ordered too many of them, some of the others I off loaded to a mate who I used to work with and supports Dulwich Hamlet, same as me.

It's not only this Government, all the previous ones have been just as stupid, the problem will be keeping track of them, let's hope MI5 and the police are on the ball.

Had to go to the Sorting Office this morning to pay £35.57 VAT and RM fee, in order to get my new toy, a Tatroe Mods "Atlas", a SX350 box mod, put my igo-w4 on it @ 1.9Ω single coil and vaping Posset at 47.7W/9.49v, absolutely gorgeous, never been above 16W before now without getting a burnt taste.

I certainly did need the sleep. Managed to sleep from around 12midnight until 7am today too, but getting up again was not good! It's taken until now for things to calm enough for me to move around better.
Son brought me some tablets he'd got months ago for labyrinthitis, and it turned out to be the same ones my old doctor gave me some years ago when I was troubled by this BPPV. They did help quite a bit then (Betahistine dihydrochloride), but this time is worse than back then. Hopefully, they'll still help! Have only had two so far.

You don't have to know anything about painting & art. All you do need to know is a/ do you like it, and b/ does It look right. If the answer is yes on both counts, then she's talented! :) The other thing to know is that no artist is ever 100% happy with what they do ..it's all about ever improving. One huge learning curve. Water colour is the least forgiving too, and as such, the most difficult to master.

Ah! there's a thought - do a search for Jacksons Art and my name - you should find an article they did about me last year.

This government now thinks that out of 500 who left the uk to go over there, 250 are now back in the uk streets, what the hell is going on with this bloody government.
I think not only us but the government too, would be surprised to know fully what exactly is walking our streets.
Things have been going noticeably bad world-wide since 9/11, and they'll have been surreptitiously going bad long before that as these evil factions planned their moves. I don't believe for one minute that certain branches of the security services etc. weren't slightly aware of it back then.
Our border agencies let us down badly too.
Our police areas have all been given instructions on what to look out for and how to approach/deal with certain situations or incidents, but we need far more.

I'm sad to think that our children will be here after we're gone, and also their children too ....and I fear for the world ahead if something isn't done. If not in their lifetime, then certainly in the future, these people will make more inroads into their goal to control vast swathes of the populations.

Anyway, that's my rant!
_______________________________________________________________________________________________

Got the rest of my drip tips from FT today - nothing special, but they get rid of the s.steel ones on some of the tanks :)
I was reading a US thread about the BVC coils yesterday and saw that a retailer in NC had a half price offer on all their coils, including the Aspire BVC which were $11.95 full price for pack of 5. I checked their site, added two packs and got them both for $11.95 and the shipping was $6.50. Definitely cheaper than buying them here, but orders were restricted to two of any type and they only had the 1.6ohm in stock. Today, there's none.

How is it that I repeatedly see items not made either here on in the US at far cheaper prices there than here. Things like the coils are one, another is a tube of paint that was £18 here, $18 in the US, yet it's made in Italy! Is it all down to taxes?

I got a bottle of the NT H1N1 18mg from Spiritus and mixed it 20% with max VG Confusion from CV. It's rather nice! ...very nice :) Pity I can't try it on it's own, but they don't have a max VG in this one.

I am pleased that you feel a bit better trish, even though it is only a bit :( And i hope the tablets help out. It will certainly be the taxes trish what pump up the prices here. I think this country must have one, if not the highest vat rates in europe.

I also agree with everything you say regarding the bast*r*ds, who want to destroy our civilized cultures and go back to living in the bloody dark ages. Like they do now incidently. I am not going to post on here on the way i would sort it out given the chance, but it would include something with nuclear in it`s name.
