Perhaps so ..they do state they're for use in a number of tanks including the MOW, but could be older stock as you say!

I just had an order from MyEpack last week, but I got BVC coils and another mini Nautilus. If I'd known, I could have looked for those coils! Next time

Edit - OK, ordered some from myEpack! I'll be using one or two MOW's all the time anyway, so I'd need them anyway

I just heard some twits on Sky Press Preview again giving negativities about e-cigs (One is Julia Hartley Brewer - LBC broadcaster, the other Barnie Choudhury)), she said something about flavours making young people use them and that there was chemicals as well as nicotine in them, and I'm pretty sure the chap on there with her tonight said the flavours would make people use them more and that the nicotine was more than that in cigarettes! It's repeat is on now so I'll try and listen more closely in the next ten minutes and see exactly what he said!
The article they were talking about is one in the Times tomorrow stating that if everyone smoked e-cigs, 50,000 smokers would be saved each year - it's apparently a positive article to counter the WHO report from a week or so ago!

Apparantly they had a harmfull chemical in their butterscotch liquid, and had to withdraw it from sale. If it was up to me ALL butterscotch, whatever it is in, should be withdrawn.

Apparantly they had a harmfull chemical in their butterscotch liquid, and had to withdraw it from sale. If it was up to me ALL butterscotch, whatever it is in, should be withdrawn.

BBC did a quick analysis of four brands bought in Newcastle and one (the butterscotch VIP one) was found to have trace amounts of diacetyl in it. thing is, some liquids do have it and responsible vendors do state that for people to make the choice - Nicoticket do and I've seen others too.
I'd rather it was eliminated for them if only to shut up some of the negative attitude. Thing is, lots of makers say they can't make the same flavours without it! At least some such as TPA and even Capella now do some that have had the diketones removed.
Edit - the diacetyl etc. can be naturally occurring in some cases!

A search will bring up a Reuters report on the same thing and another in the Guardian. All positive compared to the recent WHO report.

Just makes me so annoyed that these reporters/broadcasters on press preview are almost always non users of cigarettes or e cigs ..you can tell by the way they discuss it.
I emailed Sky News last time and asked that they got someone that actually uses them to balance the discussion! Did I get a reply? ...you guess!

I've always just re-coiled and re-wicked rather than just re-wick as in this, but I found the key is to make sure you have enough cotton/rayon inserted so that the slots on either side of the coil don't have any gaps when you put the plastic thingy back on, else juice will run through freely and leak. If the cotton/rayon through the coil isn't enough I've added some more above the coil like a "flavour wick".

Can`t remember now adam, you were having a problem with your kayfun ? did you get it sorted ?

Yeah it wouldn't fire when i got back from holiday if you recall so I just drained it and cleaned it and chucked the coil. Haven't had time yet to have another go. Had a look at adjusting the 510 pin on it but of course haven't used it since so I'll probably find time at the weekend.

Still loving the magma by the way with the same 1.2ohm single coil build in there. Good on medium airflow at 15W or on a mechanical but also have been vaping it on 10W ish on the smallest airflow for better flavour (but less vapour). Haven't had any more leaks either.

TBH I think the only difference between the 2 is probably just to increase the airflow across coil

Perhaps so. I have got some that don't work as well as the one it came with, and the holes/slot was the only visible difference.
If I can get some with the slot opening, I'll be able to compare properly.

For now, I'm using a new MOW with the 'slot' coil already in it, and it's working beautifully.

Hey all - hope you are all well (i havent bothered reading back as it must be 3 weeks or more since i was last here.

I havent bought any new goodies recently, not even any liquid except a bottle of grizwalds apple n pear torte a few weeks back. I sorted through all my liquids and put a load into a 'maybe later' drawer, which was about 60% of what i had. What was left has been boring me as well though. I seem to only be able to vape about 10ml max of any given liquid in a week without going off it and then i need to wait at least a couple of weeks before having more, so in that respect Zamplebox quite suited me i guess - just a shame that too many of the liquids are sweet syrupy fruit/candy and i cant be bothered with swapping with others so i'm not rejoining zamplebox.

Unfortunately i got an email about my pipe - they are running behind with production, so although they didnt give ETAs i think i am now looking at early October as opposed to late August / early September. I dont mind really, but no chance of getting it for my birthday. I think if i didnt have the pipe on order i would be looking at cutting back more on vaping. I've got no desire to return to cigarettes, they taste worse than anything, just getting a little bored with flavours. I think that i may need to get loads of new flavours along with a couple of favourites to help me along

Having said all the above, there are 2 liquids that i still really like and am not getting bored with at all - Chefs Vapour SD&C and Nickoticket Gravity. Easily my 2 favourite juices at the moment.

Right, having typed all this it's help me realise i need some lovely new juice flavours so i am off to spend some money

It's just really weak I don't understand it. It's a fruit flavour so shouldn't need much steeping and Flemming had previously said while the flavour might change over time, all the LT concentrates should be good enough to vape right from the off.

If you don't find a stronger version at LT, you could try asking the Chefs which of the raspberry flavourings they offer is the strongest & most natural tasting.

Think I finally cracked the kayfun lite.

Tried this set up first (took extra care with the coil and making sure it was screwed down, wish this thing had holes in the posts somehow) but it gurgled. Here I have just juiced the rayon before putting the chimney on. Not enough rayon I think as it gurgled and leaked a little.

So I basically re wicked it and this time stuffed more rayon in. Instead of juicing it down like before I put the chimney on before and then stuffed the increased amount of rayon down using a screwdriver.

Doesn't leak. Doesn't gurgle. Keeps up just fine if I chain vape it at 15W. Very pleased. Thanks all who gave me advice on this one

Way hay, glad you got it sorted mate, they are truely amazing atties once set up right Adam the way you fill it can give problems with gurgling leaking etc ! Which filling method did you use mate ? If you used the upside down method ( like i do ) it can be fiddly till you get used to doing it.

But none of that matters for now, the important thing is you are enjoying one of the best vapes out there.
