Although you gave up quicker than I did, my cut down was a lot more, although I did smoke less anyway, ordered eGo with some juice just to give it a try, had already given up on the look-a-likes as a waste of money, and all the NHS crap. First day I smoked 7 instead of 25, next day it was 3, and as I had just come back from Belgium, thought what the ...... am I going to do with all these fags that I bought, so ended up carrying on for about a month vaping/smoking 3 a day, gave the missus 400 cigs and ended up at the end of Feb with the 1 pack unopened that I still have to remind me what a waste of money/health it was
If I hadn't got severe problems with PG, I'd likely have stayed with the cigarette size ones ...I stopped smoking with them, so had no issues on that score.
To be honest, I'd still use them to a degree if I could get a decent VG one here ...can't get on the US Blucig site as all I get is redirected to the UK one and they don't sell the cartridges with the Johnsons Creek VG that the US site does!
I think my problem with VG is the amount of it I use, so if I used cartridges 50% of the time, I'd be using far less :)
As you say, people like us that are at home can - and often do - use them all day! :)

It's nice to know that the flavours get better the lower you go, I didn't really notice anything between 18 and 12.
I only started to notice it recently. That distinctive taste is much less, and I can't smell it very much when I open a bottle now unless it's one with NET.
I have that little chest of 6 drawers, and if I open one with older bottles in it that are higher nicotine, I can really smell it.

Now that I am building and getting into lower ohm coils am definitely finding 12mg is getting too much for some of my attys, still okay in the normal store bought heads like the Aspires and Kangers, but would be good to try and reduce if I can, especially as I am vaping all day, not like these people that are young enough to have to go to work and don't/can't vape all day.
I've seen people using drippers on things like a Reo say they had to lower the nicotine.

On the 19th of this month it will be my two vapeversary. I can`t say i have enjoyed the full journey, what with all the leaks and gurgles i put up with at first, BUT after getting into RBA`S i have never looked back.
There's aspects I haven't enjoyed too - the issues I have with PG, and to a degree VG are a pain.
I don't like badly behaved tanks & coils either ..can make for a bad day!
Still, well done for 2 years coming up! :)

I can now smell a ..., or someone using one at 100 meters away, and i truely find the smell repulsive.
Can't say I find the smell repulsive yet! But, if someone stands near me who has recently had a cigarette, then yes, it smells awful!

EDIT I don`t have to paint the house every year now either.:p
My studio is in dire need of top to bottom cleaning and redecorating, but for one thing I can't stop working long enough to get it done, and for another thing it would take a week to empty it and sort out what can be thrown out and what needs keeping! Just the thought of all the wires, plugs and computer equipment is enough of a reason to say 'manyana'!

Thanks trisha, i don`t think it is meant to be an easy journey, more of a learn as you go sort of journey. :D Well worth it though if you ask me.

Ahhh, Manyana ! My favourite word.

Yes, definitely worth it.
I do like not having the smell of it in the house and on me! I can wear things like cardigans, sweaters, jackets etc. without having to wash them or get them cleaned every time too.
I still have cupboards that need emptying and everything in them washing!

Yes, can be very satisfying ..because tomorrow, you can say it again! ;)

I miss absolutely nothing regarding cigs trish - Zilch, Zip, Nada, Nowt. :D

Lots of things I don't miss: not having to check the floor for dropped cigarette ends/ash before I go to bed, no dirty ashtrays to wash, no dirty fingers, stained teeth improved greatly, no worries about being unable to smoke for a couple of hours, not having to use air freshener when you know someone is going to visit (affects my sinuses), not using carpet freshener every week, not spraying the dog with deodoriser before going to the vet!, not having to go outside to smoke if you have visitors ....it's a huge lot of things!
The only things I really don't like are the problems I've had with breathing and congestion.

I do trish
I thought you may say that ...and to be honest, these days, so do I!

Can't say I've had many problems with leaking or gurgles, think mine has been and still is. making decent coils and getting them set up, although that is now getting a bit better, and as the missus still smokes, I get the smell and problems with the paintwork all the time, I find the smell worst if I walk into the front room just after she has put one out, and that is rank (she spends most of her time in there, whereas I spend most of mine upstairs in the den)

and also the fact that we're at an age that "Manyana" is a lot easier to say, than actually doing something about it, my arterial problems haven't helped either.

I keep some 12mg in one or two of my kanger clearos for when I'm at work or out and about and just need something a little stronger, or as you say I know there will be some time when I can't vape. Using 12mg in an RDA when I'm at home I have to be careful not to over do it so my DIY juice is 6mg or 3mg. Some of the time that lower strength is fine in a clearo at work but I carry the 12mg just in case.

Have been debating whether to take the kayfun to work, probably on my nemesis, but I get some curious looks from smokers outside the building where I work as it is with only a small eGo size battery.

I miss absolutely nothing regarding cigs trish - Zilch, Zip, Nada, Nowt. :D

Like I've said before, sometimes I miss the head rush from cigs, but the smell isn't as nice as I once would have found it. I don't find it repulsive but what I exhale smells a whole lot better.

Mixed these up last night (re-used my empty twisted and fluffy nuts bottles for new DIY of those flavours). Now we play the waiting game.

This is my main problem too, although it may have saved me some money as i would be wanting lots of shiny new RBAs/RDAs all the time if i was better at building and mounting coils. I'm OK at it, but not good enough to vape just RBAs all the time. I just dont have the patience for it. I am happy with my sophia though - practically no rebuilding necessary for it, and i see it as a bit of a treat when i get my KFL or trident set up correctly, but i am more than satisfied with my carto tanks (except last time i went to the zoo with my little boy and the carto tank on my mvp2 actually snapped off at the base so when i pulled it out of my pocket the base of the carto and all the internal wadding, etc was screwed into the mvp2 and the tank came off with the carto body trapped inside it.. Obviously i couldnt sort this out at the zoo and hadnt brought a spare anything so just had to make do without for a couple of hours, but in future i think i'll take an ego with a carto on along with me).

I only ever got a headrush from cigs for the first few weeks when i started smoking back when i was 14 or so. I'm with terry - cant stand the smell of smoke from a cigarette these days, although a pipe or a cigar still smell nice, even though i never smoked a pipe and only very occassionally had a cigar.

At least the thought passes through .........:D

Seem to recall I was the same - back when I was 14/15, the tobacco was a completely different thing altogether though.
Ten years ago, I saw some American Spirit cigarettes in an Oxford Street tobacconist, so I bought a few packs. The difference was remarkable, and they tasted very close to cigarettes in the mid 60's.

When I was at work, the accountant had a pipe, and he used a cherry vanilla tobacco ...had a wonderful smell that everyone liked!

Sounds like a plan! :) No good you entertaining thoughts of getting back to work anytime soon then! At least you'll be properly recovered by then.
A holiday in a place you like sounds good! :2cool:

At the moment I only have 3 KFLs & an eXpromiser, 1 new KFL needs coiling and now the eXpromiser after going through 2 tanks worth, I thought I would change the cotton, so removed the cotton, cleaned the atty then tried a dry burn and the coil popped, so just have the other 2 KFLs on the go at the moment, along with quite a few clearos of differing kinds, also have 2 Fogger v3s & an RSST which are not being used yet.

Don't take my MVP out the house nowadays, always seemed a bit awkward in the pocket, prefer my VMods (squonkers) as all the extras you need are replacement batteries and maybe a replacement atty or carto.
