Never a truer word spoken trish :) Me gobs been pretty much fine today, i suppose the pills are working there magic.

Tomorrow i am going to clean a kayfun and try the coffee and sweet cream, should be interesting.
One of the reasons I went to office work was after speaking up at a meeting about the treatment of some of the elderly patients on my ward by the auxiliary staff - I was quickly shut up and told not to mention it again.
A winter of a grossly under staffed ward at night, and the subsequent falls suffered by too many patients got to me, and I realised that I couldn't fight it, so I walked away. There was nothing else to do.
Nothing has changed, just people have become less afraid of speaking up ...long may their voices grow as long as there's a cause!

Glad you've got things comfortable. The coffee and cream sounds very good! Will await your verdict! :)

By the way- don't forget the Long Shift for an even more flavoursome one!

Yes it is such a shame trish, and i commend you for walking away from it. Glad you reminded me of the long shift as i had forgot AGAIN . I will certainly let you know how the coffee and cream is. :) The coffee alone is very nice, so it will be interesting to see what it`s like with a bit of cream added !

I got thinking before ( dangerous times ) :p but i remembered you saying about the PG giving you mouth trouble. Maybe, and it is just maybe, that i have got issues with it as well.

I have never vaped any juice @ or as close as i can get to 100% VG, so i think i will stick that on my agenda. Since i joined this fantastic forum i have read so many posts regarding the issue of people having problems with PG, and maybe it is the culprit with my mouth problems ! After all i was fine when smoking so who knows.

Sometimes, walking away is all you can do - and for decent people who care about others, it's a hard thing to do. I can still remember most of those lovely old people. They were such characters despite having ailments like dementia. I went on duty at 7.30am, and got such a breakfast roomful of big smiles as a greeting, it was always worthwhile on the coldest, darkest mornings :)
Yes, would love to hear about the coffee & cream!

True, many people do get sensitive to PG. For me, it was a closed throat and problems breathing: felt like half my lungs had turned to concrete. Plus, I got eczema on my face, sore lips, sore mouth and gums, and sometimes my gums would bleed. Worse was a bad reaction to a particular vanilla - it shredded my throat! Was probably worse because of the PG.
I also started noticing that I'm sensitive in similar ways to certain flavours - most of them fruit ones (blackberry, lime, some strawberry ones etc.) I'm having problems with Band Camp today and yesterday - pity because it's a max VG realistic apple pie one. LT have a lovely blackberry one and it's a pity I can't use it properly!

Only way you could check if you're sensitive to PG is to get a pure VG one (VapeGreen have plenty including Velvet Cloud) and use it for a day to see if you notice any difference.
I'd expect more than just one area of your mouth to be affected though.

Kayfun users! Does anyone get problems when your kayfun is nearly out of juice in terms of wicking or anything. Mine is running low but still has enough that if you turn it upside down it flows down and collects at the top, but flavour has suddenly become very muted but not quite like a dry hit. I'm obviously going to refill it anyway but I wondered if this is something that usually happens

Yes, would love to hear about the coffee & cream!
I put two thirds coffee to one third sweet cream in a kayfun after cleaning it trish, and i have got to say it is very nice indeed. They both offset each other perfectly, and it is like vaping a nice creamy latte.:) When i primed the wick and coil with the cream, i put the kayfun together before filling, and just had a vape to see what the cream was like on it`s own, and it is very authentic...Lovely, will be getting more.

I think i will try that trish next time i order from MBV. Maybe just get a couple of max VG to try, and see how i get on with them.:)

Okay ronnie no problem mate, just drop me a reminder tomorrow in case i forget about it.

Ronnie, no need for the reminder mate, i have dug it out and cleaned it ready to be posted to you. I put a spare o ring in there for you to use if you need it. The dripeer has 2 o rings on the base, the one on there, is an original, the other is the spare what i have given you. When i tried putting the cap on with the spare fitted it was a very tight fit, so maybe just use the dripper with one o ring fitted, it should be okay like that.

Sounds rather nice! When I get around to it, I'll try those!
Worth trying some VG to see how you go with it. I doubt it will be wasted anyway ...you'll still like how it tastes. May need an extra shot of flavour, but don't forget the flavour will be PG. (With something from the VapeGreen ranges, they're all 100% VG)

Well worth to getting round to it trish :D Their liquids are packed full of flavour with one or two extra shots added. After the poor experience i had with the pineapple cake, i was a tad dubious of the pina colada...I didn`t need to be dubious at all, it is another very nice pineapple and cream vape.:)

Thinking of our recent conversations re the Kanger V2 coils having both two small holes on the side and a single elongated one, it's interesting to read two somewhat conflicting reviews of the on the UKecigstore site.
The first review isn't a good one, and it's followed by two posted on 20.8.14:

After quite a bit of confusion with staff when I bought my replacement heads, I did some research and here is a low-down on these dual coils:

The atomiser head pictured is a Version 2.2 with the single slot on both sides but unless you buy the 2.0 ohm head you will get the Version 2.1 with two holes on each side.

Version 1: Has short wicks sticking out of the holes.
Version 2.1: Wicks not visible. 2 holes on either side.
Version 2.2: Wicks not visible. 1 covered slot on either side.

The reason Kanger revised V2.1 was because the loose flavour wicks inside the head can poke out of the holes. This doesn’t happen with the V2.2 heads as there is material covering the slots. If you purchase a MOW tank it comes with a V2.2 1.5 ohm head that has single slots on either side. After mine died I tried to buy a replacement pack of the same heads but was given the 2.1 version with 2 holes either side. And yes, I noticed on refilling that the wicks tend to come out of the holes.

Store staff assured me that only the 2.0 ohm heads came with the slots on either side (despite the 1.5 ohm head in the MOW tank having slots too). Having done my research, I now interpret this to mean that the only V2.2 heads in stock at the moment are 2.0 ohms. The rest are all V2.1.

Other than that, the V2.1 heads work very well albeit with a short life span of about 4-5 days before performance drops. Plus it’s very difficult to open up the head for cleaning, unlike previous Kanger heads.

So 3 stars for now and let’s hope that future stock of these heads will be all be V2.2 with single slots on each side, as these are the best ones to use. Then I may give 4 stars!

And then this one:

These ones have 2 holes on top of each other on each side so 4 holes in total compared with one slightly bigger hole on each side on the older version and the ones with the double holes work much better for taste and flavour ive found, Its a night and day difference for me. Very pleased with this product, thanks.

So, impossible to be 100% sure which is supposedly the newer version. Whichever it is, I'm pretty sure that the single hole ones work/last better. I tend not to take too much notice how long once I've used something new for a while, but I do notice those that leak or need replacing too soon.

I got another eMOW IP Blue tank from MyePack last week, and unlike my earlier ones, this came with the two holes version coil fitted!

Seeing UKecigstore has the V2 coils on offer at £5/5, I've ordered some of the 2.0ohm to see what arrives!

With Aspire and the BVC coils, there's a new 1.5ml glass mini 'K1' tank coming soon to both the above mentioned suppliers (Myepack will be cheaper if they keep the advertised upcoming price).
Looking at the MyEpack image, the BVC coil looks to be the 'other' version (not for the Nautilus mini). Disappointing as I'd prefer to only need to keep one type. Seeing that, I'm thinking twice about getting the new K1 Aspire K1 Glassomiser - Clearomizers

Between them, these two manufacturers are keeping people on their toes where coils are concerned.
Also, I still see no BVC coils on the FastTech site.

I'm not too sure about pineapple ...bit like banana - I just haven't been keen on the few of both that I've tried. Don't like coconut either. It spoiled an otherwise nice one from SG.

Nicoticket is changing ...nothing we'll notice in the short term, but they're getting new labels/logo, and have teamed with investors to form a new company: Arcane Industries.
Basically, he's securing the future of the brand.
It seems the FDA is saying they'll ban online sales! That means companies like Nicoticket will need to source good B&M outlets throughout the US and Europe. No doubt the US will be the main priority, but if we end up not being able to buy online eventually, there'll be a greater need for good quality B&M shops here.

Seeing I haven't bought anything other than online, I have no idea as to the quality of any nearby. I'll need to check it out. Whether this will mean the UK will subsequently lose online retail for such things through any EU or UK rulings, I don't know, but quite often what happens in other large countries tends to telegraph here.

Apparently, in the US, the FDA will even class zero nicotine liquids as a tobacco product! Seems nothing is safe.
Can't help but wonder what would happen if a company only sold concentrates (either single or mixed flavours) with no specific use other than 'flavouring' on the label. Easy enough to get PG or VG, but nicotine could be difficult to get around.
All that said, what about the actual equipment: batteries, tanks, coils etc. from retailers such as FastTech as well as the UK ones.

All this is why I'd like to carry on trying to reduce my nicotine dependence. I've had enough of having to comply with the whims of government and EU rulings with other things.

You are most welcome ronnie, It is quite an easy dripper to set up and is brilliant with a nice micro in it. :) The posts are brass as well so better conductivity, and you secure the coil legs with a little hex key, so no need to fiddle about with screw drivers mate. :D
