'Tis!Quiet again tonight !
'Tis!....I'm working ...not sure what everyone else is doing! I'm tired too ...4.30 when I went to bed this morning.
Had to take a step backwards after finding a glitch in the painting I've been doing for the past 8 days. Scraped down to canvas, cleaned off with turpentine, did two layers of paint ...still repainting detail on it now!
I almost threw it, but after spending so long on it already and the canvas costing around £15, I decided to just get on with trying to fix it. (I had a ridge of paint 1/4" from the edge of a bowl and being on a smooth background, it showed!Bloody heck, thats a bit of a bummer trishHope all is well with Ian, as he seems to have gone absent again. I kept looking through the night last night, but there was no activity at all on here.
Quiet again tonight !

If you are not ordering batteries or anything that contains a battery, then when you get to the choice of carriers, select 'other options' and choose China Post, it is normally the fastest, Swiss Post was the slowest of the lot for me and cost and extra $1.
Oh yeah forgot to mention the battery issue. Bob have you ever ordered anything with batteries in or just plain batteries? is there a customs issue or is it just that you have to get the sloooow shipping option?
I've used the Singapore post delivery option by the way for those delivery times I stated, and am trying out China Post as per Bob's recommendation for the orders I'm waiting for. Also I usually make my orders around $20 or over as you get the China or Singapore delivery free then. It costs extra if the order is significantly below $20.
Thanks for the prompt replies .... only ordered toppers so shouldn t be a problem

I'd finished a medallion design on the bowl too, and part of it dissolved with the turps., so that's what I'll need to re-do next ...tomorrow now! I'm too tired. I've repainted the background (3 graduated colours: dark green, earth green and gold ochre) - the warm dark background I use most often would have been far easier! Typical.
By rights, I should have been well into the next small painting!Never mind. Can't lengthen the days!
In a happier vein ...one of the galleries sold a painting this weekend! First they've sold for me since May! Really happy!![]()
Did you check your 'likes' for yesterday evening? I saw that Ian had at least looked in. Wasn't exactly scintillating conversation though so he probably tip-toed out again
I just found something rather nice: Had a small bottle of the NT Strawnilla (Strawberry Frenilla) - Hadn't used it because it's a PG/VG mix. Just thought to dig out my Strawberry Vapetto, and added around 20% Strawnilla to a tank of it. Very nice! Like crushed strawberries and cream with some waffle biscuit! I can't use much strawberry as it's one of the fruits that give me problems, so can only use it for a few minutes at a time.
I also have a strawberry and guava one from Velvet Cloud that I could use the Frenilla with too now and then.
I don't usually go for banana ones, but Velvet Cloud have two that sound rather good - one is banana chocolate & coffee/cream, the other is banana cream, custard & vanilla. I may try a small bottle of those at some point.
Only kidding trish, well done. I don`t do banana vapes myself, it is one of a few which just doesn`t appeal to me.don't know if Terry has bought loose batteries from them
Yes, had three orders with that type of battery in it. All good, no problems - think they took around 16-18 days. They show the shipping method to use when placing the order.best person to ask is Trish as I think she has bought a few eGo/EVOD style mods from FT,
It is good! Goodness knows how long before another one gets sold ..probably my exhibition early November (I hope they sell some!) Still, this one is better than nothing.Whoopi, sold a painting = more vape moneyOnly kidding trish, well done. I don`t do banana vapes myself, it is one of a few which just doesn`t appeal to me.

I don't need too much 'stuff' at the moment: got a lot of Chefs Vapour & Nicoticket to be getting on with, plus a few others I haven't even tried yet. I do buy the V2 & BVC coils quite regularly so that I have plenty to hand.
I'm waiting for that new IPow 2 1600 battery to come into stock at UK Ecigstore though (or anywhere else that has them at a decent price when they arrive). I like the batteries that last longer between charging!
I may stock up on a few more Nicoticket before they run out of the short run ones I want. May be some time before they appear again because they're changing things a bit soon. That Strawnilla is really nice even if I do have to mix it with 80% of a different VG one! Same with the Got Cookie!
Those banana Velvet Cloud ones just sound a bit less banana than some others ...must admit, banana isn't something I've liked much so far even if the NT one was just like fresh bananas before they get too ripe. I may get a 5ml sample size of them at some point.
