Just to let you all know this isn't ron writing this. As I have gone around to see ron and he has collapsed. I have taken him to hospital and they have kept him in I don't know what they are doing at the moment there is talk of taking him down to ICU. Don't know what is wrong at the moment but I will let you all know as this forum is all he talks about.

I will keep looking in and give you the news as I get it but if I am honest he looks awful

Terrible news Tom, also read your update, so they have put him into a coma, that way they can look after him better, think he will probably need someone to look after him when he finally gets let out, it was a good job you were around when you were, or it could have been worse.

Hi its Tom again
I have just left the Hospital Ron is asleep they have put him in a coma until the swelling goes down but they have just taken him off the ventilator as he can now breath for himself.
the Drs have told me they hope to wake him tomorrow if the swelling has gone down enough because the Drs said the machines actually do as much harm as they do good so the sooner the better
I am looking forward to talking to him as we don't get a lot of time together these days with all the work he has done lately
Shame I wont be able to take him for a pint for a long time

I get the SS vs Aluminium - thing is, I like the button on the other one better than the Cover one. If it's like the Ego c Twist battery, the button isn't nice to use. Is an aluminium battery not a good idea?

Aluminium is fine trish, doesn`t really matter what the material is, Just depends what sort of look you like the best, They will both perform the same.

All those short runs released on a Tuesday in recent weeks had me landing on the NT site late afternoon even though I knew there was no new SR this Tuesday! Been conditioned to order on a Tuesday!
Knowing some of them will be missing for some time when what's there is all gone had me ordering some to put away to steep for longer. I got more Strawnilla, Got Cookie and 15ml bottles of Frenilla & Wakonda. I got 30ml each of the first two in 12mg because I dilute 15-20% of them with zero Confusion & ABC. I also got small bottles in zero of both too.

Now Clark posts that there's a special coming up this week! Drat! It's ACB (Absolute Crème Brulee) So, there goes the credit card bill up again this month!

Creme brulee is one which i have never tried trisha, does sound nice though. I do find myself reaching more for the savoury/sweet liquids more and more these days, and i may add that one to my "to try juices" list.

Having said that now though, if it is anything like the bavarian cream i tried I may regret it.

Next time I empty the Wakonda/Confusion mix I'll try a bit of the CB and tell you what it's like! Absolut Crème Brulee is a short run special 'connoisseur' version and very good. If you like chocolate, the Got Cookie is brilliant! I have 4x30ml bottles of it ...well, 3.5 now! I use it 15-20% with ABC and can taste the chocolate clearly ...lovely! It's obviously a very positive flavour but not at all a sickly chocolate. I really like it. Mix a bit of Strawnilla in with it and there's a strawberry cream black magic chocolate! Add it to the Peanut Butter cookie and I have chocolate covered PBC's! It's a versatile one!

I do wish they had them all in a max VG option - it's annoying having to use them 15-20% with something like Confusion even though it does allow the true taste to sneak through pretty well. The H1N1 and Wakonda are lovely. Think the H1N1 is just to say my favourite of the two, but there's a dash of black coffee in Wakonda

I don`t do chocolate trish, that`s with the banana and butterscotch as far as i am concerned Do let me know how the stand alone creme brulee is though. Personally i don`t like mixing pre-made juices, as i believe they should be ok straight from the bottle, although i do find that the coffee and sweet cream marry together perfectly. I know, a bit hypotritical, before you say it. And i understand you need to do so because of the issues you have.

As for Ian, i dont know, but hope all is well with his mum. As last time he posted he said his missus was doing fine.

Until recently, I wouldn't mix something with as good a reputation as NT (or CV), but they all do it, and the fact so many work well together is something that Clark seems to take a pride in, and even suggests new combinations.
They mix because they get some really good combinations rather than my problem with PG. But I do get the attraction as I'm finding some rather brilliant combinations from ones that are excellent on their own too. I think for a start there's a lot of the NT that has his vanilla extract in them.
I don't think you're a hypocrite because you mixed two ...coffee and cream is a no brainer and they're perfect for each other!

As for Ian, i dont know, but hope all is well with his mum. As last time he posted he said his missus was doing fine.

Wifey is doing fine and Mummy is having her op this week - so everything is great on the home front

Been helping out at work doing the "Staff Bus" - so been banging in some very long days. Most days been getting home, having an hour catch up with the Wife then going to bed. The Staff bus is really easy - just a case of dropping off some Drivers that don't have cars, beats picking up passengers

My Step Son is back from working in the USA now, so he's been helping out with the Missus. Plus the extra overtime will help a little, cos the Wife only gets 60% sick pay from work.

I don't start work today until midday, so thought I'd better pop in and say hi

Probably won't be on again for a couple of days. I'll be doing the Staff bus until Friday, but then I've got a couple of days off. I need to catch up with the rest of the family, not seen my Sister for a few weeks now - so we'll probably get together over the weekend.

Wondered where you had got to Ian, be careful with the overtime otherwise the family will have to start looking after you, you can only do so much.
Staff bus takes me back to when we used to run staff trains, they've almost been done away with now, the rest have been turned into earlier service trains to get the service people like office cleaners into work from the suburbs, like Dartford.

I suppose we shouldn't make a fuss when someone isn't around for a few days ..not like we don't all have 'other lives' But, we can't help but miss a person, so yes, we think of you!

Don't overdo the work - it catches up .....I'm just about shattered right now. Can't stop yet and the vertigo is hampering me dreadfully, even with the simplest of tasks ...can't even go out on foot, let alone in the car.

Couple of weeks and I should be able to catch up on some much needed sleep.
