I hope it does too mate :)

Must admit I've not used my Chi for weeks now. It's sat in the vape cupboard with the Aios on top. Got tired of the Aios starting off great, then performance dropping off pretty quickly after an hour or so. Guess the only way to check for voltage drop, is with an in-line voltage tester. It could be that adding the kick, is giving extra voltage drop, more pieces in the circuit for the power to go through. I know the kick gives a constant wattage, but if the voltage drop is high, it's probably not getting enough juice from the battery in the first place - does that make sense ?? It's the only thing I can think of really - the more direct the battery current, the less the voltage drop.

Right bed time for me.

Hope the rockets land tomorrow Terry.

Night all.

Yes it makes perfect sense Ian, I have noticed something else with the chi as well, it feels like it is shorting sometimes, like the battery is making contact with the side of the tube. That is with the kick or no kick, just something it has always done,

Anyways, i dunno. I am sure they will be coming in to land tomorrow mate, G`night. :)

No worries mate, it will probably show up tomorrow. I even made the coils today, in anticipation  I don`t know about you mate, but even when kicked my chi just seems to be lacking :( Maybe it has got a big voltage drop

I've gone right off most of my tube style mech mods, the only one I have on the go at the moment is the Atmizoo Lab with matching Bayou carto tank on it, oh and my tiny SJP wood box mod, all the others are either squonkers or regulated mods

I do have my favourites bob, as some perform better than others. The best i have are the caravella, nemesis, Tree of life, And the bellwether. The others are just mediocre, and nowt to shout about.

Was hoping yours would arrive today too. I posted it first class too, bloody RM are useless sometimes - I could have delivered it on my bus quicker.
I placed two orders with Chefs a day apart and they were despatched yesterday at the same time. The second order arrived today but not the first! I do wonder what RM do with things! Not like it's their property or they deliver it for free!

Yesterday, we posted two envelopes: one was to my bank, the other to an insurance company. Both sent fist class recorded. The bank one arrived before 10am, the insurance one 'in the system' !

He like everything except the 510 pin is not floating, and his main gripe was that the output is Mean not RMS which to most of us would mean that we have to vape at a slightly lower voltage/wattage than normal (almost all mods these days show RMS or the ability to switch between the two), I don't notice it with the MOW but probably would if I put a Kayfun on it with a lower resistance.

If the makers see his vid before they bring out v2 then those might get fixed in that
I suppose the pin thing should be OK if they're treat gently :) ...as for the power, I realised quickly that I needed to turn them down a bit compared to the MVP's. That said, I'm still using my Mint Choc Vapetto/mini Nautilus at 7W on them.

I guess the first issue of any such device will be the trial version! Nothing is ever perfect anyway!
Glad to have my blue one - lovely colour!

NT had a very SR today of 1 gallon: Sure Bert (Rainbow Sherbet). It was in max VG  only 6 and 12 mg too. Sold out of 6mg in a very short time and by around 7.30 (our time) the 12mg was gone. 4 hours!
I checked in at 3.30 and it appeared shortly after - got some 6mg! Hoping I like it! :) Just wish they always had some max VG available in the flavours they do.

Had an order placed last week arrive today - sent late afternoon on 9th arrived this morning! :)

Yes thanks for all that - also parcel received with thanks. :)

No problem Bob. Glad to hear your parcel arrived too :D

I know I've got a thick o-ring in the switch of my Chi just to stop it auto-firing. The other thing I've noticed with my Chi, is it seems quite a tight fit for most batteries. All my other mods, the batteries slip in and out really easily, with the Chi, I have to push the batteries in - not to the point where the battery wrap gets damaged though

Weird how they can get Bob's parcel to him in London the next day, but yours to Duki takes longer :(

Strange Trisha, hard to work out RM sometimes.

Have you tried out one of the cotton coils yet, or are you still saving them for best ??

As I have said before RM are KRAP - I think all mods nowadays should have a floating pin, some atties force the pin right down and then when you go to put a different one on it won't work because the pin is stuck down too far, so I think that is a valid point.

And yes the blue one is nice, just waiting to order a red one

For anyone that's interested Phil Busardo has finally done a review of the eLeaf iStick, it's a bit long winded and he actually gives it a thumbs down BUT really likes it nonetheless.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_W1G7p_fCJw

Just in time for you to test them! Hope they fit well and you're happy with them! :)

I know he does good reviews, but I tend to get a bit impatient with him waffling ...I may skip through it later, but what's the gist of his likes and dislikes?

My blue iStick replacement arrived today! Very nice colour. I still think they should have done a proper rich red metallic instead of the magenta red, but they're still smart little things.
I've noticed that if they're recharged before they get to 'empty' they charge a lot faster ...I don't always remember to look in time though.

I am the same with some of the reviewers on you tube, they just bang on and on.instead of just picking a products good and bad points. I find grimm greens reviews slightly more pleasing, as he doesn`t go all around the houses IMO

I think Phil's reviews are really good and I usually put them on in the background while I'm doing something else as they are usually pretty long BUT even with this approach I get fed up of some of the long windedness. Some mods he even measures the pressure which is needed to depress the fire button, like anyone is going to watch it and be like "oh I see it takes more than 2 lbs of pressure to fire the device, NOT FOR ME THEN".

I feel he could just give a general description of the button if he wishes like "the button is nice and clicky".

I do like how he considers the ergonomics for some devices though.

Rip Trippers reviews are nicely edited and usually straight to the point, and he still has high standards like Phil. Not so useful for some as he mostly does RDAs, high power mods and coil builds.

Both he and Phil have reviewed the squape reloaded now and there are some clones coming through on FT. I'll wait to see the reviews for the clones but am tempted as it looks like an easier to build on kayfun with wider airflow. Ideal.

I find Grimm Green's reviews a little long as well although I don't usually watch them. I sometimes check out this guy's reviews (and he loved the iStick!) but they are less technical and every other word is **** , which gets tiresome.

Yes i had to fit a thick rubber washer in mine Ian, after that scare i had in my local when the battery vented  Where did you buy yours mate ? cos mine is totally different with the battery tube, loads of rattle, unless i get it all tight and snug.

As trish and bob say, RM are bloody useless these days, he didn`t even appear on our street yesterday. :( I know this cos i was doing some serious stalking :D

I agree Adam, Phil does do some great reviews. But for me he waves his arms around too much, I think one day, the mod he's reviewing, will fly out of his hand and kill the camera
To me, Rip Tripper seems to think that every single new item he reviews is the best thing ever. I know our hobby is constantly evolving, but for each item to be better than the last one

I still prefer Todd's reviews, if it's a piece of ...., he says so

Yep I remember that scare mate

I got my Chi from FT, I think it's the inner bore of the mod that hasn't been milled out properly. The battery starts to go in easily, then sticks at a certain point. It's the same if I put the battery in from the other end. It sticks with all batteries.

I reckon the postie had the parcel, but he was teasing you and making you wait. He probably sneaked up your street like a Ninja, so you didn't see him

 Arrived this morning Ian, and thanks. Will report back later on, not much time right now :)

:rickroll::rickroll::rickroll:

Terry, that coffee is bloody lovely

Cleaned out the 2 Russian's bases, but decided to try them with the standard airflow for now. Popped a 0.9 ohm coil in one and filled up with the coffee, 1.4 ohm coil in the other and filled up with pinnacolada. The coffee is superb mate, you were right. With a lower ohm coil, I'm getting a more strong/bitter coffee taste - which is what I like in a cuppa. It's still very creamy, but the coffee taste is the dominant flavour I get with this coil. I'd say it's as good as the cappuccino from Vapology. Different taste, but just as good. The Pina, is better than the JJ version, but I think it needs an extra flavour shot or two. Still a very nice juice though :D

Terry, did you mix the coffee 50/50 with the sweet cream ??

I've sorted my mods out now and decided which ones will go and which ones are keepers. The Caravela, the Poldiac and the Maraxus will be sold, cos I'm not keen on the switches. The Chi-you, cos I don't use it anymore and the k100 for the same reason. Just need to organise my toppers now

Rewicked a few attys. But then disaster struck, I broke the iAtty that Terry kindly sent me. I'd been using a twisted wire build on it, came to rewick it, dropped the bugger and bent the pos terminal screw. Tried straightening the screw and the head broke off

Glad you are pleased with the juices ian, and yep the coffee and sweet cream are mixed 50/50. Must admit that it is the first thing i go for when i wake up, even while i am brewing up i am vaping it.

Sorry about the i atty mate, give it a good send off eh  :p

I filled both the rockets with water, and put them on a paper towel for 5 minutes. One of them completely emptied. :(, but the other was fine, and no leaks at all. so
The rocket which was leaking, i noticed that the base wasn`t fully tightened to the deck, and there was a gap of about 1 or 2 mm. So i undid the 510 pin, got my marigolds on  and really tightened it together, screwed the 510 back in and put it all together. Refilled with water, left it for a while...brilliant, bone dry.:) I also took off the o-ring what you had replaced ian, and put the spare one from the box on.

Put a 1.3 ohm coil in each of them, filled one with ry, and the other with QOP, and i gotta say ian they both rock ( rockin rockets ) Bloody fantastic, and i am blowing some serious clouds with them both.

Trish, you were spot on in saying that the queen of puddings tastes lovely in a tank, and as i expected i am now getting All the flavours coming through.:) Now i wouldn`t say i could vape it all day, as i think it is a very sweet vape, but certainly worth reaching for now and again, more now than again though.

Ian, how do you find the air flow on the russians ?? a bit tight, or was that just me.

I have got a bottle of backy juice here for you as well mate, as a welcome home present, when you come out of hossi.
